Abstract/Summary:
In this work, we utilized the soybean as experimental material, studied the damage effect of enhanced UV-B irradiation (10.8kj·m2·d-1) on the soybean seedling, and the repair effect of He-Ne laser (5mW/mm2) on the soybean seedling irradiated by enhanced UV-B. The experimental results are summarized as follows.1) The enhanced UV-B irradiation can partly modulate the defense system of soybean seedling; however, the repair capability of its defense system was weakened obviously.2) He-Ne laser can activate and repair the defense system of soybean seedling irradiated by enhanced UV-B. The repair effect of He-Ne laser on the damage of soybean seedling by enhanced UV-B irradiation derived from the laser’s bio-effects, mainly including heat effect and electromagnetic effect perhaps, which improved the metabolic rates and altered enzyme activities. In summary, based on previous study, we selected appropriate dose of He-Ne laser, investigated its repair effect on the soybean seedling damaged by enhanced UV-B irradiation, discussed the probable mechanism in the aspect of bio-effect of laser, and supplemented the data of the hot research.
