Oil sunflower seed is one of China’s main oil-producing crops. It is a kind of excellentedible oil have a great improvement in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases andatherosclerosis,its consumption is ranked third in all vegetable oils. When sunflower seed inthe system of extract oil,it must go through the peel processing. If oil sunflower seedsclassification by particle size, after uniform the grain size,it could achieve nearly100%of thepeel shell rate, and it is beneficial to improve the quality and purity of the sunflower seed oil.At the same time, the manual intervention in the process of oilmanufacture will be reduced,consequently increasing competitiveness of the oil when it enter the market. Oil sunflowerseed classification equipment and classification mechanism is also rare, and there is not reportabout large production equipment. This topic be put forward by Xinjiang Thai Kun Group, oilsunflower seed should be divided into three levels according to the thickness: the three levelsare:particle size less than2.8mm; particle size in2.83.2mm and particle size more than3.2mm.The equipment will have classification rate more than85%,and the productioncapacity will attain to10t/h20t/h. In addition, the product should have some points likecompact, low power consumption, high efficiency, and applicability.Through the analysis of domestic and international large-scale grain cleaning equipmentinformation,this topic determined the feasibility of make use of large grain cleaningequipment to oil sunflower seed grading. Obtain the desired screen width and screenmanagement area when achieve the demand production capacity by theoretical calculation onthe basis of the QFZ-100-type clean-up and sorting machine. And use the QFZ-100clean-upand sorting machine to preliminary trials in order to obtain the best mesh size and theinclination of the screen surface.After preliminary tests we will develop the larger-scale oilsunflower seeds clean-up the grading machine, and make some performance tests for thededicated clean-up grader.Test the main factors affecting the oil sunflower seed grading effectis the motor speed and the weight of counterweight. The test materials is provided byXinjiang Thai Kun Group, respectively, at the flow rate of10t/h,20t/h25t/h make theorthogonal test analysis. With frequency converter to change the motor speed, and withcounterweight to change the sieve surface amplitude. Follow-up test showed that when themodel output at20t/h,it achieve a better work status, motor speed is1435r min-1, withcounterweight about120kg, the machine achieve the best classification efficiency and lowenergy consumption. The last flow rate of25t/h test found that appropriate improvements to machine and the tightness of the sub-material door grader, there will be a better classification.The experiments show that the clean-up and sorting machine is very efficiency to the oilsunflower seed grading,and the production capacity of this grading equipment is more than10times than others grading equipment,its all work-fields parameters can fully meet therequirements of the client.
