The present paper investigated the effects of light intensity, fertilizers (different N:K ratios and NH4+:NO3-ratios) and growth regulators (PP333, uniconazole and DPC) on the growth of Fescue arundinacea Shreb. to provide efficient techniques for producing lawns in factories. The results showed that:1. For F. arundinacea seedlings, below-ground biomass was larger under treatments of low N and high K concentration than under high N and low K treatments, and low N concentration treatments elevated the above-ground biomass of shaded F. arundinacea seedlings. For F. arundinacea adult plants that were fully exposed to the sunlight, the above-ground biomass, below-ground biomass and chlorophyll content of F. arundinacea were higher under high N concentration treatments than under low N concentration treatments, and significant enhancement effects of high K concentration treatments was only detected under high N concentration treatments. In contrast, for F arundinacea adult plants that were shaded, bove-ground biomass and below-ground biomass were significantly higher under high K concentration treatments than under low K concentration treatments, and in particular, high K treatments with low N treatments significantly elevated the above-ground biomass and chlorophyll content of F. arundinacea. These effects of N and K concentration on the performances of F. arundinacea at different stages of development and under different light conditions may have implications for efficient production and management of lawns in greenhouses.2, Spraying the suitable concentration of paclobutrazol, uniconazole, and DPC are effectively reducing the plant height of tall fescue, increased tiller number, above-ground biomass and underground biomass, determined through orthogonal experiment paclobutrazol, en Uniconazole and DPC suitable combination of A2B2C2, its height200.0percent lower than the CK, aboveground biomass, below-ground biomass and tiller number were compared with CK increase of75.0%,461.5%and300.1%, the effect is better than three kinds of growth regulators agent used alone.3.Under full sunlight conditions, above-ground biomass was significantly higher under NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments than that under NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments (P<0.05), and plant height, leaf breadth, chlorophyll content and stems were also increased to some extent. R:S ratio under PP333and NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments was larger than that under PP333and NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments. Under shaded conditions, above-ground biomass was also significantly higher under NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments than that under NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments (P <0.05), however, different NH4+-N:NO3-N ratio treatments had similar effects on plant height and stem density. R:S ratio under PP333and NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments was lower than that under PP333and NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments. Leaves were wider under6BA and NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments was lower than that under6BA and NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments. Chlorophyll content under6BA and NH4+-N:NO3--N=2:1treatments was higher than that under6BA and NH4+-N:NO3--N=1:2treatments.
