The goldfish(Carassius auratus) is an important ornamental fish. Also it is keptin China with a large number.Paraffin section were used to analyse the structure of the head sarcoma.Determine the activity of the alkaline phosphatase, the acid phosphatase, theperoxidase and the catalase in different part of the head sarcoma. Character analyse ofthe hybridization of the goldfish with head sarcoma. Hope to establish the physicalmodels of the head sarcoma as well as provide basis information to produce newstrain.1. The structure of the head sarcomaThe tissue slice showed that many blood capillary existed in the head sarcoma ofthe juvenile fish and in the basic part of the head sarcoma of the adult fish, and therewere only a few blood capillary in the surface of the head sarcoma. Also, the tissueslice showed cross-distribution of epidermal tissue and connective tissue in the headsarcoma. At the early development of the head sarcoma, the connective tissue betweenthe epidermal tissue started to grow, with the passage of time, it became bigger anddivided the epidermal tissue into different parts but the foundation were an organic.The tissue slice also showed that it was much different from the benign tumour.2. Determine the activity of alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, peroxidaseand catalase in different part of the head sarcoma.At present, the activity of enzyme usually determined at the temperature of37℃,but for the heterothermic animal such as fish, most of they could not survive at this temperature. So the conclusion was not reliable..Three kinds of gold fish with head sarcoma, showed the higher activity of enzymeat the bottom of the head sarcoma.At37℃, the result only showed the chemical activity because the fish almost diedat that condition. At22℃,The enzyme showed higher activity than26℃.So,thegoldfish could have better growth at22℃than26℃3. Inheritance laws of the dorsal fin in the hybridization of the goldfish withhead sarcomaDorsal fin was an important character of goldfish. During this experiment，thehybrid of♀tiger head X♂lion head and the hybrid of♀tiger head X♂red hat headshowed different type of dorsal fin.17.39%of the hybrid of♀tiger head X♂lion headhad the abnormal dorsal fin.71.30%of the hybrid of♀tiger head X♂red hat head hadthe abnormal dorsal fin,much higher than the other groups. Combine with the DNAtest, hat head goldfish were selected from lion head goldfish and the tiger headgoldfish were selected from hat head goldfish.
