In order to understand the genetic characteristics of photoperiod-thermo sensitive genie male sterile(PTGMS) gene in rice RB563S and Dominant Genie Male Sterile in rice SMDGMS, and to clone the two genie male sterile gene, their genetic were studied and finally they were mapped in this paper. The main results were as following:1. RB563S is a photoperiod-thermo sensitive genie male sterile(PTGMS)rice line, Genetic analysis indicated that the sterility of RB563S was controlled by a single recessive gene using F1、F2populations derived from the cross of RB563S and938. The gene were named as ptgms(t).2. A linkage analysis using molecular markers was performed in F2mapping population derived from the cross of RB563S and938through bulked-segregant analysis (BSA) in combination with recessive-class analysis(RCA). The ptgms(t) gene was preliminary mapped between two SSR markers RM71and OSR14on chromosome2. The genetic distance fromptgms(t) to RM71was12.5cM, to OSR14was26cM.3. On the basis of initial mapping,60new SSR markers were selected between RM71and OSR14in chromosome2for fine mapping, finally the gene was mapped between two SSR markers RM5897and4039-2, the genetic distances were1.2cM and0.1cM, respectively. Finally we got a SSR marker4039-1which was co-segregated with ptgms(t).4. SMDGMS is dominant genie male sterile rice line. Genetic analysis indicated that the sterility of SMDGMS was controlled by a single dominant gene using BC3F1populations derived from the cross of SMDGMS with938, SMDGMS and TB,et al. The gene were named as MS-sm(t).5. A linkage analysis using molecular markers was performed in BC3F1mapping population through bulked-segregant analysis (BSA)、recessive-class analysis(RCA)in combination with near-isogenic lines(NIL). The MS-sm(t) gene was preliminary located on chromosome8, the genetic distance from MS-sm(t) to RM152and RM407are both10.7cM.6. On the basis of initial mapping,40new SSR markers were selected near RM152 and RM407in chromosome8for fine mapping, the genetic distance from MS-sm(t) to RM22258、RM152and RM407are all10.7cM, finally we got a SSR marker RM22321which was co-segregated with MS-sm(t).
