Turnips are rich in nutrients, hypertrophy of the flesh root for food.The source activity, library activity, turnips fruit quality (soluble sugar, protein, Vc, organic acids) and so on several aspects are studied on three turnips varieties for the materials during the experiment, which aims to explore a mechanism of turnip flesh root grewth, provide the theory basis for yield and quality improvement measures of turnips, and the character of breeding high yield for turnips index to provide the reference. The main results are summarized as follows:(1) Three varieties that A1, A2, A3growing status was similar basically, whether in spring or autumn.The ground grew fast, flesh root grew slowly, source activity is stronger, in28ds after seedling of three varieties;The three varieties center into the flesh root abundant period, rootshoot ratio increases, flesh root grew rapidly after seedling28ds.At the same time the sink activity of the three varieties also increased. The sink activity of the three varieties was strongest on the35th days after seedling.(2) The three experimental turnips varieties of Hesh root quality research found that A1has the highest content of protein, A2has the highest content of soluble sugar content and Vc, A3has the highest content of organic acid content in spring. Autumn, The flesh root quality of A1is best, A2is second, A3is the minimum.(3) We can found the result from the production whether in spring or autumn, the order was A1>A3>A2.
