Most important traits related to wheat are quantitative traits, such as development phase, yield related traits, quality traits, resistance and stress tolerance, so how to identify and locate those Quantitative trait locus is the basement to proceed maker assistance selection (MAS) and map-based clone. Stripe rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici, is one of the most crucial diseases in wheat. Identification and utilization of novel stripe rust resistance genes are proved to be the most economical, environmental friendly and effective method in disease control, among which, utilization of adult-plant resistance genes are particularly important to get durable resistant cultivars.With the development of genetic map with molecular mark, QTL identification, map-based clone, and MAS become the main method for wheat stripe rust resistant improvement. This research combined the recent references of wheat stripe rust resistance QTL data, compare and align all those data from different experiments by bioinformatic method. Through analysis QTL meta-analysis data related with adult-plant resistance to wheat stripe rust, we also process genetic diversity research on stripe rust resistance of Sichuan wheat landraces population. The results indicate that:1. Seven coincident MQTLs for yellow rust resistance were identified on chromosomes1B,2B,3B,5B and6B according to related22papers. In addition, more strip rust resistant genes were labeled and located into these MQTL hotspot regions. Therefore, these chromosomes position we discovered could be a major MQTL with the wheat yellow rust resistance.2. Exploiting the primers with the yellow rust resistance by meta-analysis,64Sichuan wheat landraces were performed the genetic diversity analysis.41pair primers showed127alleles variance with the range between2and6, averaged in3.1alleles per loci. The polymorphic information content (PIC) of these41pair primers is0.0912to0,7631with an average0.43, especially, marker Xgwm356, PIC value is highly up to0.7631. UPGMA cluster analysis showed that experiment materials were integrated in6clusters. Cluster1consisted most of the varieties accounted for73.4%. The former results indicated that the genetic diversity for Sichuan wheat landraces is relatively low. 3.64Sichuan wheat landraces of adult-plant resistance were investigated by mixed physiological race. Result analysis revealed significant difference in experimental materials.7varieties showed immunity toward test physiological races,which disease severity, incidence and disease index were all0. These materials might be elite crop germplasms for stripe rust resistance breeding4. Marker-trait association analysis was calculated by general linear model in software TASSEL V2.01. Three SSR loci were detected significant correlation with the trait of adult-plant resistance to stripe rust. The research is helpful for us to explore and exploit the adult-plant resistances of Sichuan wheat landraces, which providing method for MAS.
