Agriculture is the pillar industry of the national economy and the people’s livelihood.There are a lot of problems in Chinese agriculture,and most of farmers are lack ofscientific fertilization consciousness. Overfertilization is very universal. In order to solve theproblems in fertilizer application, ministry of agriculture started a program named soiltesting and fertilizer recommendation in China. The soil testing and fertilizerrecommendation could solve the contradiction between the crop fertilizer requirement andsoil nutrients supplication. The method combined the field experiments with soilcharacters’ testing data, and supplemented elements’ requirement amount to achieve theeffect of increasing income. Many results had been obtained by now. According to thesituation that the increasing of basic information, data, digital map, soil testing data,"3414"experiment results, the next work should focus on three area, such as data’s dig, data’sintegrated use and how to applying the achievement.In recent years, mobile GIS technology based on PDA has developing very quicklyand displayed huge potential and advantages in field data collection and cities’ checking.This paper combined soil testing and formulated fertilization technology and mobile GIStechnology, and developed a soil testing and formulated fertilization application systembased on PDA-GIS. Through digging and integrating soil testing and formulatedfertilization basic data,the paper took Juchao county as an example, and obtained someachievements as follows:1, Research, based on the rape "3414" test data in Anhui riverside area, establishedthe soil nutrients’ classification of the crops (rape) and the abundance index respectivelythrough the logarithm model, the second model, linear model fitting deficiency relativeyield and soil testing value of the mathematical relationship, built the fertilization indexsystem and the plot area fertilization model based on the model of quadratic equation inthree variables and the model of quadratic equation in one variables, then construct themore precise sampling fertilization model on the base of the nutrient balance method.Established the soil testing and formulated fertilization of county model base, propertiesand space database by combining the achievements with the embedded GIS mobiledevelopment, based on the study of the front and the fertilization characteristics in Jucaoarea. 2,Contrastively analysised the onInverse distance weighted method, the ordinarySikelvge interpolation method in GIS application of soil nutrient distribution on the resultsof interpolation,put total nitrogen in Jucao area as an example, got the interpolationprecision that Kriging> IDW by crossing validation contrast.This system has a betterchoose of the schemes.3,Researched key technologies of the system implementing process, including GPSpositioning, data optimization display, WebService technology and its eSuperMap platformof the relevant knowledge.4, The PDA system chosen the windows mobile operating system and based on thesecondary development of the embedded GIS platform respectively eSuperMap andSuperMap IS.net service type platform. It has two access methods: offline and online.Futhermore, it achieved the soil testing and formulated fertilization system of county basedon PDA-GIS.in addition, the system of fertilizer, sample point attribute, the land soilproperties, GPS positioning inquiry, SMS messages, editing sampling points, deficiencypicture uploading module functions are introduced in detail.First of all, the system broken current model of experience of fertilization and set upthe scientific fertilization index system; secondly, it solved the the indoor applicationbottleneck of the single and online version, PDA can get the fertilization guidance at anytime and place in the wild; thirdly, realized the update of soil testing data sampling points,which can get the latest fertilizer recommendations. The system made a " fertilizationexpert of pocket"——a new generation of free mobile, anytime, anywhere you can query,and took the project’s results into the farmers’ hands into a reality.
