Wheat powdery mildew has become a regular and serious disease of wheat in Xingtang County,Hebei Province, China, but its prevention and control technology system is still not perfect, the currentcontrol strategies are limited to control indicators and promotion of indicators of prevention technologywhen wheat is in the late spray. That leads bad efficiency. The resistance of major cultivars to powderymildew is poor, control indicators are not objective enough to promote indicators of preventiontechnology developed single fungicides-triazoles.Peasants have been in a habit of controlling afterpowdery mildew has happened instead of preventing it in advance.Eepidemic of powdery mildew is notclear what affects treatment decision-made.In this paper, three system observation fields were established in the village Zhuangtou, Baimiaoand Yudi. Meanwhile surveys at the high altitude were made to clarify whether wheat powdery mildewcan oversummer here.1996-2010diseases historical data and meteorological factors were analysed toestablish the winter and spring prediction models. Wheat powdery mildew epidemics were monitored.Furthermore, nine local commercial varieties and bred lines were collected and investigated theperformance of their planting, and resistance to disease resistance in the field. The results showedsuitable varieties were Jimai22, Yanmai21, and Liangxing66. Eight fungicides were screened todetermine which can replace or rotate with triazoles. Five fungicides have more effect on controllingpowdery mildew than triadimefon. Field experiments demostrated that irrigation, fertilization andagronomic measures important influence on wheat powdery mildew. Based on the above data, adjustmeasures to local conditions, construct local prevention and managemt system to control the occurrenceof powdery mildew of wheat and reduce wheat yield loss effectively.
