| Duck viral hepatitis (DVH) is one of a major viral diseases of high mortality and spread quickly which is harmful to less than3-week-old ducklings. It distributed worldwide and widespread outbreak in all over our country, and did great harm to the duck industry, so it made a Great attention by the majority of clinical veterinary workers. Although the yolk antibody was effect to cure the disease but easy to relapse. The ingredients of Chinese medicine is complex, from nature, to keep the various components of the natural and biological activity, easily absorbed and used, low toxicity, pollution-free, drug residues, and no resistance.So we could use Chinese herbal medicine compound flexibility to cure a wide variety of diseases which would had unique advantages and broad prospects in the prevention and treatment of livestock. The study chose14kinds of Chinese Herb medicines to compound a Chinese Herb (named Ya gankang)which according to the clinical characteristics of the disease and Verterinary theoretical basis and the diagnosis treatment of the principles on the basis of large amounts of literature. We complete the Efficacy test of Ya gankang on Duck Viral Hepatitis Through three test steps:Test1:Isolation and identification of duck hepatitis virus. Successfully isolated a virus from Natural incidence of young ducks’Liver and named PT.We through the regression test and Protection test of young ducks and Chick embryo cross-neutralization test to Preliminary identified the virus was DHV-1. And lay a good foundation for the follow-up test to carry out.Test2:Experiment of Ya gankang to prevent and cure the disease through artificially infected young ducks.Choosed450young ducks of3-day-old and divided into9experimental groups.3groups (150)were for preventive-therapeutic experiment which were given medicine (low dose0.5mL,moderate dose1mL,high dose2mL) for3days (Once a day)before artificially infected DHV,and after24h continued to give medicine (low dose1mL,moderate dose2mL,high dose4mL) for7days (Once a day). And the results showed that the Protection rate of low dose,moderate dose and high dose group were78%ã€94%ã€96%respectively,and compared with the infected control group(protection rate2%), diversity is extremely significant(P<0.01),and the difference was not significant between moderate dose and high dose group (P>0.05),but their effect were all better than the low dose group (P<0.05).So the Ya gankang had a good effect to prevent the disease.The other3groups (150)were for therapeutic experiment, give medicine to them(low dose1mL,moderate dose2mL,high dose4mL) for7days (once a day)after artificially infected DHV, And the results showed that the protection rate of low dose,moderate dose and high dose group were62%ã€86%ã€88%respectively, and compared with the infected control group(protection rate2%), diversity is extremely significant(P<0.01), SO the Ya gankang had a good effect to cure the disease. Use the moderate and high dose group compared with the antibody control group(protection rate92%), the diversity is not significant (P>0.05). According to the above two test results,we recommended the clinical dosage:Prevention dose of1mL, therapeutic dose of2mL, once a day, mixed drink administration.Test3:Experiment of Ya gankang to cure the disease through naturally infected young ducks.Divided1000naturally infected young ducks into3groups randomly and used Ya gankang,yolk antibody, and anti-bacterial drug to treat the disease respectively in PuTian city,and the protection rate were85.65%,92%, and2.67%respectively.So the result showed that the effect of anti-bacterial drug to treat DVH was almost invalid.But using the Ya gankang to treat the disease,the effect was extremely better than anti-bacterial drug,and compared with the yolk antibody, the diversity is not significant (P>0.05).So the Ya gankang can be used in the clinical treatment of viral hepatitis, and the effect was as good as the yolk antibody, and is worth promoting. |
