| Duck viral hepatitis(DVH) is an acute highly contagious disease of ducklings caused by duck hepatitis virus. The disease mainly occurred in duck, which is one of the most important diseases in duck raising. It has been 70 years since the first discovery of duck hepatitis virus(DHV), with the further research and the virus variation strain, DHV and its mutants were reclassified and named in 2009. New serotype II and III DHV was formally named, and the original serotype II, serotype III was named as duck astrovirus serotype 1 and duck astrovirus serotype 2. Duck hepatitis virus serotype I(DHV-1) is the most important and severe one in the world. At present, although duck hepatitis prevention, diagnosis, treatment has been relatively mature theoretical methods, in some areas, the disease remains a serious epidemic. The survey found that DVH is popular in duck farming cooperatives of Qiu county, causing heavily losses to the farmers. This paper summarizes and analyzes a case typical suspected of duck virus hepatitis in 10 days of age, during the prone period of duck virus hepatitis. The death ducks have opisthotonus symptom, and necropsy showed varying degrees of liver bleeding spots. It was DHV type III infection through epidemiological investigation for the diagnosis. By taking injection ducks yolk antibodies and secondary anti-infection treatment on the patients, it has been effectively controlled in the next day.Compared to influenza and other viral diseases.it is preventable and treatable in a certain extent. Therefore, cooperatives have been emphasized to strictly control the disease, but has been unable to take prompt and effective measures to root out. The reasons there exist cooperatives lack of awareness of the epidemic reasons, but also a lack of funding and other aspects. |
