Study Of The Campus Landscape Environmental Construction Of University Campuses In Nanchang Region

With the new century coming, the construction of university campus attracts more and more people’s attention. People require some designs which contain the cultural characteristics, artistic features and something that can response the history and cultural of the university, especially after the practical requirements are achieved. Area of Nanchang is hilly. With this characteristic, many scholars have done the researches on campus landscape designing’s of Nanchang University, and propose many views. Such as they proposes to follow the principles of terrain features, and to respect the environment, also to preserve the original landscape features, last but not least to make the perfect combination between building and topographic. However, because the bases of the universities are different, they will meet different degrees of difficulties. In this situation, this article decided to study the basement and implementation of design of the university campus in Nanchang area, through analyzing two cases. And then we want to give some useful advices for the university campus building.This study suggests that, when building the university campus, people should consider about the campus location and the major characteristics and design different building implementation, at the same time, we also should think about the various functionalities and profound artistic which the university campus environment contains.In addition, we should also consider the following factors:(1) the design should be based on the university’s educational purpose which means the status of student’s education. For example, for the Normal University, it should be a model for others and have the characteristics of teacher’s beliefs and other characteristics. And for the finance and economics university, it should reflect the world economic situation and development features of China’s economic development.(2) The design should reflect the university’s learning and cultural requirements. In the other word, it should create a learning environment for the students. The development history of the university also should be taken into consideration when building the campus, in order to reflect the heavy historical and cultural characteristics. And also the "people first" concept should be designed into the university campus to give students a good environment suited by their psychological characteristics, and also provide other school staff a good working environment.(3) The design should reflect the ecological characteristics. Ecological environment protection is the theme of humanity, and the university campus also should be build for this purpose. The campus should be the integration with the areas and suit the region’s overall characteristics.
