Neonicotinoids compounds have been found to show wide spread biological activities, many of them have been developed and used as insecticide. Different structures of neonicotinoids compounds have different biological activities, developing novel structural neonicotinoids compounds is the research focus at present. The feasible process was probed into the synthesis of3-(2-chloro-1,3-thiazol-5-ylmethy)-1,3-thiazolidia-2-ylidenecyanamide. We have synthesiszed the new pesticide and its intermediates successfully. The technology of synthesizing the nicotinic insecticide new pesticide has also been studied. The process developments of the intermediates of new pesticide were optimized. The effects of the reaction time, the reaction temperature and suitable solvent have been compared and discussed emphatically. The better synthetic process was provided. Procedure for the nitenpyram was developed. The analytical methods of new pesticide and its intermediates were established. The insecticidal activity test of Imidacloprid, Acetamiprid, new pesticide to Cabbage aphids, Grape leafhoppers, Tea tree leafhoppers and Rice planthopper was done and the results show that:the activity of new pesticide was better than Imidacloprid, and inferior to Acetamiprid. With the synthesis of new pesticide was probed into, the process of synthesizing other nicotinic insecticide has been basically grasped and the great meaning of studying and contriving the nicotinic insecticide later has been obstained. The new process we have researched has several advantages:low cost, high purity and higher yield, manipulate easily, low energy sources and it is a great attraction for enterprise.
