The scope and quantity of planting tobacco is great in our country, although it brings its considerable economic benefit to our country, it should not be overlooked that the quantity of water for irrigation of tobacco is astonishing while our country is a nation relative lacks of water resources. Today, the shortage of water resources and unscientific irrigation methods of the past in China restricts the sustainable development of tobacco industry. It can be said that the lack of water resources and unscientific irrigation methods of the past is one of the main contradictions in tobacco production processes. Take Cili country town in Hunan province as an example, the range of planting tobacco is wide, forming a certain scale tobacco region. Therefore, the county farm on the rational optimization and irrigation of tobacco leaf using water resources so that the relative lack of water resources can get science distribution in each tobacco growth period, to realize the maximization of economic benefit based on the gain of water saving irrigation which is of great practical significance. This article is mainly engaged in the following research through the reference of relevant research literature of domestic and foreign, on the basis of the sufficient depth of tobacco grown in Cili county town.Firstly, in front of the thesis writing, fully into the actual tobacco plant in Cili country town of Hunan province, collect the relevant material and practical study of geography, climate, soil and water conditions of tobacco fields in Cili country town of Hunan province, and this lay a good reality foundation for further research after the article.Secondly, calculate water requirement during each tobacco growth period in three tobacco areas of Cili, the results reflect that the method has high precision of the calculation results which is scientific and reasonable can be applied in actual tobacco production processes. After getting through NIR frequency analysis of the consumption of water of net irrigation, determine the effective rainfall and water requirement during the tobacco growth period.Thirdly, combine with the related material in recent years of the water-saving irrigation test in tobacco areas in Celli country town of Hunan, explore model of growth formula function of water in tobacco along with the change of the sensitive coefficient law and construct methods of optimization of water-saving irrigation. The result fully reflects problems including the unscientific deployment of water resources and shortage of water supply in tobacco growth period, water-saving irrigation system after optimization has a very significant solve effect, fundamentally improve the quality of tobacco leaves and yield, and reach the purpose of improving the economic benefit in the end.
