In order to study the effects of Fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS) and probiotic on AA broiler,700commercial broilers were divided into7groups randomly,5duplicates per group and20broilers per duplicate, and groups1-7were treated as follows:(1)basal diet;(2)basal diet+100mg/kg aureomycin;(3)basal diet+100mg/kg FOS;(4)basal diet+200mg/kg FOS;(5)basal diet+1×109cfu/kg Bacillus licheniformis;(6)basal diet+2×109cfu/kg Bacillus licheniformis;(7)basal diet+100mg/kg FOS+1×109cfu/kg Bacillus licheniformis. The whole experiment last for28days. The samples were collected and growth performances, microbe population in cecum, oxidation indices and blood biochemical parameters of broilers on the28th day were determined, the results showed that:1. The effects of different treatments on growth performances of broilersThe differences were obtained in average daily gain (ADG), average daily feed intake (ADFI) and feed conversion rate among different groups(P>0.05). Compare to group1, group2and6got the highest ADG and ADFI, and enhanced by12.40%(P>0.05)and7.67%(P>0.05)respectively, the feed conversion rate in group2,3,4,5and7were lower than group1by5.2%(P>0.05),0.6%(P>0.05),6.9%(P>0.05),6.9%(P>0.05)and4.6%(P>0.05)respectively. It suggested that FOS or Bacillus licheniformis in appropriate level could improve the growth performances of broilers to some extent.2. The effects of different treatments on microbe population in cecum of broilersBoth of the two additives could decreased the number of E. coli. Compare to group1, the number of E. coli. In group3-7were reduced by15.1%(P<0.05),16.8%(P<0.05),15.6%(P<0.05),14.6%(P<0.05) and13.9%(P<0.05) respectively, and significant difference was not obtained in group2; The number of lactobacillus in group2-7was increased by11.0%(P<0.05),12.2%(P<0.05),14.8%(P<0.05),12.9%(P<0.05),10.8%(P<0.05) and10.1%(P<0.05) respectively; The number of bifidobacterium in all experimental groups were higher than group1, but only group4(P<0.05) obtained significant difference. It suggested that FOS and Bacillus licheniformis could improve the microbe population in cecum of broilers effectively, and the effects were better than aureomycin.3. The effects of different treatments on oxidation indices of broilersThe activity of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) in all experimental groups were higher than group1, and group5and6were increased by21.7%(P<0.05) and21.5%(P<0.05) respectively; The activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) in all experimental groups but group2were higher than group1, and group5and6were increased by20.6%(P<0.05) and19.2%(P<0.05) respectively; The content of malonaldehyde(MDA) in group3-7were reduced by11.8%(P<0.05),12.6%(P<0.05),15.0%(P<0.05),14.1%(P<0.05) and13.3%(P<0.05) respectively, and significant difference was not obtained in group2. It suggested that Bacillus licheniformis was the best in improving the antioxidant ability of broilers, it was better than FOS and aureomycin.4. The effects of different treatments on blood biochemical parameters of broilersThe effects of aureomycin on blood biochemical parameters of broilers was not significant, and FOS could reduce the content of urea nitrogen(BUN), Uric Acid(UA) and increase the content of total protein(TP) and albumin(ALB) to some extent, the content of BUN in group4was decreased by17.6%(P<0.05); The content of BUN and UA in group5and6were reduced by16.6%(P<0.05),20.9%(P<0.05) and13.1%(P<0.05) and18.7%(P<0.05) respectively, and the content of TP and ALB in group5were increased by20.2%(P<0.05) and39.0%(P<0.05) respectively; The content of total cholesterol(TC) and activity of alkaline phosphatase(ALP) in all experimental groups were higher than group1, but significant differences were not obtained. In conclusion, FOS and Bacillus licheniformis could improve the growth performances, microbe population in cecum, oxidation indices and blood biochemical parameters of broilers effectively. The added effects of both were better than aureomycin, and used separately was better than used together. |
