Using potted famous-region Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica Thunb.) in Fengqiu, Henanprovince as materials, the paper investigated and probed the effects of soil water and fertilizeron the growth and development character and the quality of Honeysuckle, which is to providesuggestions for soil water and fertilizer management of SOP(Standard Operating Procedure)in Honeysuckle farm. The results were summarized as follows:The investigated results of element change and photosynthetic characteristics inHoneysuckle: First, Content of Chlorogenic Acid and Flavonoid in honeysuckle breed is thehighest at six o’clock or ten o’clock, and the content of nitrate in breed is higher than that inleaf. Active elements and nitrate in leaf showed normal distribution. Correlation Matrixbetween leaf elements and PAR reached excellent gap (a=0.01). Second, Active elements inSanqing phase are the highest in different growth phases of Honeysuckle, and Nitrate and1000-bud weight in Yinhua phase are the highest. So, Er’bai phase and Da’bai phase wererecommended as the best harvested phases. Finally, Honeysuckle photosynthesis appears thephenomenon of light noon break in sunny day. Nonstomatal limitations of Photosynthesis arethe main factors, which can be proved by the trials of water and fertilizers again. The results of water on the growth and development character and the quality ofHoneysuckle:16.2%of soil water not only favors for the improvement of bud’s quantity, butalso makes for the accumulation of Chlorogenic Acid and Flavonoid. However, thephotosynthesis is the highest when soil water reached22.2%. So,16.2%to22.2%of soilwater was recommended when Honeysuckle was blooming. Another result is thatHoneysuckle belongs to the xerophil. The results of compared trials by the applications of Organic nitrogen and Inorganicnitrogen shows that, application of Organic nitrogen played positive roles on1000-bud weightof Honeysuckle, but decreased the concentration of Chlorogenic Acid and Flavonoid in theflower and leaf. However, the results of Inorganic nitrogen were reversed.;Nitrogen application can prove the content of nitrate in bud and leaf of honeysuckle; the highest of thephotosynthesis is application of Organic nitrogen and Inorganic nitrogen. So, application ofOrganic nitrogen and Inorganic nitrogen should be combined in the growth of Honeysuckle, which was recommended. The results of potted trials of nitrogen and phosphor shows that, Phosphor played littleeffects on the growth and development character, but can decrease the active elements ofHoneysuckle. Application of forty gram one tree can obviously improve the growth anddevelopment character and photosynthetic characteristics. Application of twenty gram canimprove the active elements of bud, leaf, rattan. So, application of twenty to forty gram onetree and appropriate application of phosphor were recommended in the first phase ofcultivation course. In cultivation, application of0.05%borax can help to improve the weight of bud, buthave little influence on the content of Chlorogenic Acid and Flavonoid.
