The experiment, using Kexinl as experimental materials, combining field experiment and laboratory analysis, was conducted to study growth index, physiological index, yield, change rule of soil moisture under the different film-covering mode, such as the traditional planting, harrowed bedding planting with film mulching, double ridge mulched completely by film, ridge mulched by film, ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting, and to identify the best film-covering mode under the dry land tillage potato of Wu chuan Inner Mongolia, the main conclusions were as follows:1In the whole growth period, plant height and stem diameter of the dry land tillage potato were gradually rising. Film mulching and drought-resistant agent was in favor of plant height, stem diameter increasing, ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting with drought-resistant agent had the best effect. Leaf SPAD was gradually decreasing. Film mulching and drought-resistant agent was in favor of leaf SPAD increasing, the effect of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting with drought-resistant agent was the best, followed by the effect of double ridge mulched completely.2LAI and stems and leaves dry matter accumulation showed single peak curves, tuber dry matter accumulation were gradually rising. Film mulching and drought-resistant agent were in favor of LAI and stems, leaves and tuber dry matter accumulation increasing. The effect of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting with drought-resistant agent on LAI and stems and leaves dry matter accumulation was the best, followed by the effect of double ridge mulched completely. The effect of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting and double ridge mulched completely on tuber dry matter accumulation was the best, were significantly higher than the traditional planting.3Film-covering modes and drought-resistant agent could improved the leaf relative water content, soluble protein content at different degree, and made the leaf SOD activity, MDA content, Free Praline Content remaining at relatively low level, to maintain the normal grow metabolism of plants, double ridge mulched completely by film and ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting had the best effect.4Contrasting to the traditional planting, film-covering modes and drought-resistant agent could increase the tuber yield and water use efficiency by6.71%-83.57%and 12.04%-135.36%respectively. Under the one film-covering mode, drought-resistant agent could increase the tuber yield and the water use efficiency by4.24%-37.11%and0.59%-23.24%respectively.5Film mulching and drought-resistant agent was in favor of starch content increasing. The starch content of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting was the highest, followed by the starch content of double ridge mulched completely. The reducing surge content of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting and harrowed bedding planting with film mulching was more than the traditional planting. Drought-resistant agent made the reducing surge content reducing.6The conclusion from the change rule of soil moisture, show that the film covering had the significant efficiency of rain-harvesting and moisture-preserving, the effect of double ridge mulched completely was the best. Double ridge mulched completely by film was able to increase availably the soil water in0-10cm soil profile, the soil water of ridge culture mulched by film and ridge side planting in20-40cm soil profile remained at relatively high level; Drought-resistant agent was the efficiency of reducing soil water evaporation, it could decrease soil water infiltration and made the water preserved in0-40cm soil profile.
