Shrub soil of Amorpha fruticosa in different planted years on Southern Mu Us desert were selected to this study, by measuring soil mechanical composition, SOC,TN,NO3--N,NH3+-N,TP,Available P and TK content of Amorpha fruticosa plantation and sample plots to study the recovery effect of desert, and analyze the correlation between soil nutrients and dust particles. The main results are as follows:1The shrub soil surface are covered litter after planting and the accumulation increased with age, so did the soil refined degree. the dust particles contents of soil surface (0-10cm) up to4.3%in1951, are higher than other years.2The pH value of vertical soil profile of Amorpha fruticosa in different planted years began to decrease from the bottom, and the pH value of soil surface (0-10cm) is lowest. The pH value of shrub soil (0-20cm) of Amorpha fruticosa in different planted year:1951<1976<1983<2005<control. The pH values of the same soil reduced with the increased planting years. And shrub surface soil of Amorpha fruticosa in different planted years has significant difference with the control by variance differences analysis.Amorpha fruticosa can help reduce the pH of soil.3After Amorpha fruticosa plantation were planted, SOC, TN, N03--N, TP and available P content increased with the tree age and decreased with soil depth, Within the range of0-20cm surface soil, the content of part soil and the control has a significant difference, or extremely significant difference. The total potassium content has no greater range of fluctuations. NH3+-N content by digestion is extremely low and did not change significantly. Amorpha fruticosa plantation can help to improve the soil nutrient status.4Correlation between soil mechanical composition and nutrient analysis showed that the dust particles has highly significant correlation with NO3--N (p<0.01), and were significantly correlated with SOC, TN and TP (p<0.05). With the increase of the particles, N03-N, SOC, TN and TP has an increasing trend.
