According to the results of domestic and foreign literatures, visiting experts and investigating golf courses. The system of quality assessment of the green based on the mathematical model was established. Providing the scientific theoretical basis and reasonable evaluation method for the comprehensive evaluation of green quality of golf course, the system has practical guiding significance in the green maintenance by practical application.The evaluation standard and system about golf course was established primarily. From searching the reference literatures and investigating golf course, the indexes of the system were defined, which divided into two parts:the turf using and the turf sustainability.The system includes16indexes:green speed, green firmness, appearance quality, mowing height, thatch thickness, the number of balls scar, smoothness, plant diseases and insect pests, root distribution, OMC, infiltration rate, the bed pH, the fertility, total porosity, particle size of greens topdressing sand, the size of preparation grass of the greens.The determination method and criteria are determined for each index, a score standard, grade standard and weight value are gave to each index, green quality can be evaluated according to the system, the level of green quality can be determined using the assessment system, the problems can be found by the system. Both of them can provide reference methods for maintenance and improvement of the green in the further planning.The quality of the green of Xi’an T-sin-ling International Golf course was evaluated using the assessment system, the results of evaluation is same with the actual situation, which indicates that the system is valuable.According to the evaluation results, the forward suggestions of maintenance are made in the future work to the green of Xi’an T-sin-ling International Golf course. The specific advices as followed: Reducing the random of irrigation to greens, taking artificial replenishment; Improving green hardness by rolling, drilling green, topdressing, repressing green, in the mid to late lo month;Increased by rolling greens hardness; Green drilling in the mid to late10greens playing, topdressing, repression operations;Reducing the amount of nitrogen fertilizer, increasing the amount of phosphate and potash fertilize, it is recommended that spraying0.4%-0.2%kH2PO4.Routine maintenance should be regularly sprayed with protective fungicides to prevent the occurrence of disease, because leaf spot, dollar spot and fairy ring disease, etc, which can easily be leaded by the higher content of nitrogen fertilize of greens root-zones, and combined with high temperature and humidity.
