In this paper, Salvia splendens’Vista Shenzi’,’Yichuan Baifen’,’Vista Red’and’Yichuan Qianzi’ were used as materials first to study the impact of the different nitrogen levels,rate of nitrogen fonns on growth and nutrient absorption of Salvia splendens. And then studied the effect of different iron supply and the different forms of nitrogen uptake, the use of plant iron.The iron levels were divided into sufficient iron supply(2.0mol·L-1Na2Fe-EDTA)and low iron supply(1.0mol·L-1Na2Fe-EDTA). The nitrogen forms were divided into NH4+-N supply,1/2NH4+-N+1/2NO3-N supply, NO3--N supply.Initially identified nitrogen appropriate concentration range and the optimal rate of nitrogen forms of Salvia splendens in greenhouse soil-less cultivation. And provide some theoretical basis to further clarify the effect of the different nitrogen forms on iron absorption of Salvia splendens. The main conclusions are the follows.1. Settle different nitrogen levels treatments between0~250mg·L-1to Salvia splendens’Vista Shenzi’and Salvia splendens’Yichuan Baifen’. When nitrogen concentration provided was lower than100mg·L-1, plants showed typical symptoms of nitrogen deficiency.200mg·L-1nitrogen concentration is conducive to the shoot and root growth and development of Salvia splendens. Promote flowering and dry matter accumulation. Promote the absorption of nitrogen, but little effect on the absorption of phosphorus, potassium. When nitrogen concentration provided was upper than200mg·L-1, it’s not conducive to the growth of Salvia splendens. It’s poisoned roots and then inhibited the absorption of nutrients.2. Settle for nitrogen concentration of100mg·L-1and set different proportions of NH4+-N and NO3--N to Salvia splendens ’Vista Shenzi’.Under single NH+-N and NO3--N treatment,plant could nonnally growth and flowering. The plant height, crown width and number of leaves reached the maximum when NH4+-N:NO3--N=40:60. And it’s also improve flower quality and chlorophyll content, make dry matter accumulation more. The high concentration of NH4+-N within a certain range contribute to the thickening of the roots, but not conducive to the growth of root elongation.3. Settle the nitrogen concentration to100mg·L-1, conduct different nitrogen forms and iron supply processing to Salvia splendens "Vista Red" and Salvia splendens ’Yichuan Qianzi’. Low iron supply compared to adequate iron supply, the latter has better effect on the growth of plants. Adequate iron supply can increase the chlorophyll content, promote root growth and increase the total iron content. And the NO3--N treatment effect is more prominent,it means NH4+-N can improve iron nutrition.Compared to single NH4+-N and NO3--N treatment,the treatment of1/2NH4+-N+1/2N03--N had a significant role in promoting the growth of plants.
