ObjectsEvaluation of the global registration of acute coronary events (GRACE)risk score joint admission B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) level on theprognostic significance of the risk of death in patients with recent acutecoronary syndrome (ACS).MethodsSelected within24h of onset of the263patients with ACS, the detectiontime of admission BNP levels, while computing the GRACE risk score ofpatients, follow-up30d observation of plasma BNP levels in patients onadmission and GRACE risk score for mortality prediction significance.Results263patients with ACS, the near term (30days) mortality and GRACE riskwas positively related to higher GRACE points, the greater the risk ofdeath (P <0.001). Died by the GRACE risk score and survival comparing thehighest and plasma BNP levels were also significantly increased.Conclusion1.An admission plasma BNP levels and GRACE risk score can predict ACSpatients the risk of death. 2. BNP and GRACE can improve the prognostic significance of the recentdeath of patients with ACS.
