Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancy of women, which creates a serious impact on women’s health and even life, In recent years, the incidence of breast cancer increase rapidly, becoming the first female malignancy. It is indicated that early diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve the cure rate of breast cancer, so the point is that this medical examination can become common screening. Currently, there are mature means of detection of breast cancer like X-rays, MRI, CT scanning, PET examination, ultrasound imaging examination and so on, but they have many shortcomings and deficiencies like injury to the human body, false detection, high cost and so on, making them failed to become breast cancer screening technology. Ultra-wideband microwave imaging techniques is presented and the principle is that different organizations with different electromagnetic parameters have different effects on the microwave signal, Using this information carried by the echo signal to locate and imaging breast cancer. Its safety, fast, accuracy, deep penetration depth, high resolution imaging and low cost, making it a strong possibility of early breast cancer screening technology. In this paper, the women’s three-dimensional model of breast tissue is created with the finite difference time domain method, setting the model boundary conditions with perfectly matched layer method and simulating the dispersion characteristics of biological tissue with single-pole Debye model. 3-D confocal imaging algorithm and 3-D robust Capon beamforming algorithm is applied to show the imaging result. Comparing results of two algorithms, it is proved that robust Capon beamforming algorithm can effectively reduce the noise and keep good stability. As the computation of the program of three-dimensional model is large, so multi-core parallel computing method is generally used in the procedures to significantly improve the computational efficiency.
