Object:To Observe the effects of Anastrozole and Tamoxifen on the liver function in postmenopausal women with breast cancerMethods:There are14postmenopausal women with breast cancer who underwent adjuvant endocrine therapy. They were treated with oral Anastrozole (n=7) or oral Tamoxifen (n=7).We test and analyze the liver function in3years, using ALT, AST, TBIL, GGT and AKP, before and every half year.Results:1.All the patients have no repsed, migrated and any other tumor. All the patients are alive.2. The results showed that the ALT mean (P=0.038) and GGT mean (P=0.003) were reduced in both the Anastrozole and Tamoxifen group, the difference was significant. In Anastrozole group, the levels of AST mean (P=0.023) TBIL mean (P=0.027) and AKP mean (P=0.047) were higher than the Tamoxifen group. However, the levels of the ALT mean (P=0.110) and GGT mean (P=0.277) had no significant.Conclusion:Anastrozole and Tamoxifen didn’t effect the liver function in postmenopausal women with breast cancer...
