Objected:To explore the anti-tumor effects of extract ginkgo biloba including the possible mechanisms involved in the suppression of the human glioma cell line U251progression.Method:After U251were treated with various concentrations of extract ginkgo biloba (60、100、150、200、250mg/L), CCK-8was performed to examine the effect of extract ginkgo biloba on the proliferation of glioma cells. With the role concentration increases or function is the extension of time inhibition rate also increase, compared with controls are statistically significant difference (P<0.01), the difference between the two is also a statistically significant (P<0.05), but60mg/L extract ginkgo biloba12,24,48h to U251role there was no significant effect on cell proliferation, compared with the control was statistically significant (P<005).ginkgo biloba extract treatment group were visible nuclear enrichment density of strong fluorescence mass, nuclear chipped and apoptotic body and other typical of the cell apoptosis features, and with the increase of the drug concentration, apoptosis morphological changes the more visible, and the negative control group and solvent group cell size uniform, into the blue uniform dispersion fluorescence;3. Extract ginkgo biloba100,150,200,250mg/L apoptosis rate compared with controls are statistically significant difference (P<001). Has a certain dose dependent relationship,60mg/L role apoptosis rate after no significant effect.4.
