Objective:To investigate the value of Echocardiography in evaluating changes in ratafter acute myocardial infarction, and to determine the application value ofechocardiogram in research of acute myocardial infarction.Materials and Methods:Confirmed the electrocardiogram of23Wistar male rats was normal byBL-420E+biological system. Divided the rats into two groups randomly,13as experiment group and induced by intraperitoneal injection of Pituitrin,10asthe control group only received an injection of same amount of saline. Then thedegree of ST-segment elevation(Δ ST), duration of QRS wave and heartrate(HR) were gained by electrocardiogram. And Left ventricular end-diastolicdiameter(LVEDd), left ventricular end-systolicdiameter(LVEDs), EjectionFraction(EF) and fractional shortening(FS) were got on left ventricle long axisand laterosternum minor axis. The isovolumetric contraction time, isovolumicrelaxation time, Ejection time peak E and peak A were recorded by spectraDoppler of mitral valve and left ventricular outflow tract. The wall motionscore index then was obtained by16segments left ventricular analytic process. The serum markers of myocardial damage and the pathological changes inmyocardium were detected after echocardiogram was performed, evaluated theresults. Results:While LVEDs and Tei index increased(P<0.01) with WMSI(P<0.05), EFand FS decreased(P<0.01). The correlation analysis showed: WMSI, Tei Index,LVEDs were positively correlated with Δ ST(P<0.01), and negatively correlat- ed with TQRS(P<0.05). EF and FS were positively correlated with TQRS(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with Δ ST(P<0.01), LVEDd was negatively correl-ated with TQRS(P<0.01).Conclusions:Echocardiogram could evaluate left ventricular function and wall motionof rat after acute myocardial infarction by induced pituitary safely, dynamical-ly and effectively. It was better certificated than the electrocardiogram andserum myocardial injury markers detection.
