Objective: The purpose of this study is to understand acute nonobstetricsextragenital injuries, to analysis related factors,incidence trend in differentdevelopment periods,the relationship of genital injuries and age,changes inclinical features. In order to provide clinical research data for women andchildren’s genital health care,so as to reduce the incidence of the diseasethrough targeted prophylaxis.Methods:174patients were collected with acute nonobstetrics genitalinjuries during20years in department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in theFirst Hospital of Jilin University from1992to2011.With descriptive,retrospective comparative methods of analysis,I applied EXCEL software tobuild database and used chart and χ2test to statistically analyze clinical data.Research contents:1.To analysis the situation of the acute nonobstetricsgenital injuries patients.2.To analysis the acute nonobstetrics genital injuriesrelated factors.3. Extragenital injuries type analysis by Sex related injuries andaccidental injury caused.4.Compare the different injuries types clinical featuresand treatment related factors.Results:(1)The onset age of174cases with acute extragenital injurieswere distributed from1to76years old.90%rape and sexual assault patientshappened in childhood and the youth (<14years old)and had decreasing trend;50%happened under the age of nine years;accompanied by the anus,rectuminjuries; sexual difficulties injuries had increasing trend.(2)174casesnonobstetric genital injuries had the highest rates in reproductive period,thevagin was the most frequent site of injuries up to51.2%;the labia was the mostfrequent site of injuries in adolescence up to62.5%;the perineal and hymen were the most frequent sites of injuries in childhood up to84.4%.The patientsproportion was50%with anus or rectum damage occurs inchildhood.(3)Perineal impalements injuries was respectively largest inchildhood period up to52.4%, with the age growth rate graduallyreducing.There was obvious difference in the different living regions amongthe patients with accidental extragenital injuries. Perineal impalements injuriespatients were mainly in rural, blunt perineal injuries patients were mainly inurban.Childhood and fertility later patients were distributed in towns,sex-related injuries was the most frequent cause occurred in students.(4)2patients with abdominal impalements injuries of174cases,7patients withanoperineal laceration,3patients with vaginal rectum laceration,9patientswith pelvic fractures,1patient with bladder injury,3patients with urethralinjury. Severe composite injuries accounted for29.6%(24/81),most frequentoccurred in childhood and puberty.(5)The main treatment measures wereOperative treatment in acute nonobstetric genital injuries patients.Conclusion:(1)Acute external genital injuries by rape and sexual assaultwere occurred mainly in children and the youth (<14years old);the number ofrape and sexual assault patients had decreasing trend.(2) Severe compositeinjuries were occurred in children and adolescent patients.the anus, rectalinjuries were occurred in childhood.(3)Perineal impalements injuries wasrespectively largest in childhood period,with the age growth rate graduallyreducing. Perineal impalements injuries were mainly in rural, blunt perinealinjuries were mainly in urban.(4)Nonobstetric genital injuries with the highestrates in reproductive period,the vaginal was the most frequent site of injuries inthis period;the labia was the most frequent site of injuries in adolescence;theperineal and hymen were the most frequent sites of injuries in childhood.
