Carotid Cavernous Fistula:Case Statistic Analysis And Review Of The Literature

Objective:To summarize the manifestations,diagnosis and treatment of carotid cavernous fistula(CCF).Methods:26cases of CCF from our hospital, a statistic analysis of cases and review of relative reports and literatures.Results:We analysis the cases both from our hospital and other reports, and think covered stent is promising method to supplement and consummate traditional CCF therapy, and also give some suggestion to other traditional methods such as CIA blocking et al.Conclusion:CCF is a complex intracranial vascular disease. Comprehensive use of different methods and trying to find more compatible material such as covered stent for intracranial vessel will give us more chances in treatment of CCF and other intracranial vascular disease.
