ObejectiveAllergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction caused by hypersensitivity of human body to certain allergy. It is a clinical common diseases and a type I allergic diseases. It is also called a year-round type of allergic rhinitis.Its clinical symptoms include nasal obstruction, nasal itch, nasal discharge and sneezing. Taking the advantage of high efficiency, simple and accurate advantages and characteristics, The experiment adot uniform design experimental method to explore the optimization scheme of the nosal three-needle acpuncture in treating allergic rhinitis from the reatment day, manipulating needle number, Stimulation intensity, accroding to observ the allergic rhinitis symptoms change of guinea pigs and peripheral blood IL-4content changes.MethodsGuinea pig model of allergic rhinitis was established by the ovalbumin injecting intraperitoneally and stimulating nasal mucosa, then18experimental animals were randomly divided into3groups. Each group were experimented according to the uniform design experimental schedule. The behaviors of guinea pigs in all groups were observed. The influence of serum IL-4were determined by radio-immunologic analysis.Resultsl.The satisfactory results was achieved by the nosal three-needle acupuncture in treating allergic rhinitis.33.33%were excellent,66.67%were valid, the total effective power was100%.2.Three factors of Treatment day. Stimulation intensity, manipulating needle number were examined. Stimulation intensity mostly influenced the content changes of serum IL-4. Manipulating needle number took the effect less than the stimulation intensity. Treatment day played the weakest role.3. Treatment day, Stimulation intensity, manipulating needle number, the three factors in acupuncture effect were positively related.4.The experimental research examined six levels of three factors. Combined with the behavioral changes of guinea pigs before and after treatment, The best treatment scheme of nosal three-needle acupuncture in treating allergic rhinitis was that Treating12days, manipulating needle6times, stimulation intensity to360degrees of twist amplitude, frequency120/cent,10min at every turn.Conclusion 1.The nosal three-needle acupuncture treatment could effectively improve the allergic rhinitis guinea pigs model symptoms of nasal obstruction, nasal itch, nasal discharge and sneezing, etc. And the effect was remarkable.33.33%were excellent,66.67%were valid, the total effective power was100%.2.Treatment day, Stimulation intensity, manipulating needle number, the three factors in acupuncture effect were positively related. And stimulation intensity influenced curative effect mostly.3.In this lab, treating12days, manipulating needle6times during LiuZhen time, stimulation intensity to360degrees of twist amplitude, frequency120/cent,10min at every turn, it was that the best threatment effect. So it could be considered the optimal quantitative scheme of nosal three-needle acupuncture in treating allergic rhinitis.
