The Curative Effect Observation On The Combined Therapy Of Intradermal Needle With Loratadine For Children With Allergic Rhinitis (the Deficiency Of Splenrc And Pulmonary Qi)

Object:Through the comparison of the curative effect by treating children with Allergic Rhinitis (the deficiency of splenic and pulmonary Qi) by Intradermal Needle combines with loratadine?Intradermal Needle and sham Intradermal Needle to evaluate the efficacy and safety of treating such disease with Intradermal Needle,to provide clinical evidence for the effectiveness and safety of the treatment and promote the simple and effective treatment by Intradermal Needle.Methods:75 patients who were selected according to diagnosis standard, inclusion and exclusion criteria were divided into three groups based on randomized and controlled principles by 2:2:1 with 30 cases in the group A (treated by Intradermal Needle combined with loratadine),30cases in the group B (treated by sham Intradermal Needle combined with loratadine),15 cases in the group C (treated by Intradermal Needle).Intradermal Needle and sham Intradermal Needle are both disposable needle made by SEIRIN CORPORATION in Japan.Needles were replaced twice a week,a total of three weeks. The acupoints are Yintang(EX-HN3), Yingxiang(SI-20), Zusanli(ST-36), Dazhui (DU-14), Feishu(BI-13),Pishu(BL-20). Loratadine was taken based on the weight and age of children, qn. Three groups were treated for 3 weeks.All cases were observed and recorded by score of Uni-VAS?grade of symptoms and physical signs?score of the Multi-VAS?score of TCM associated symptoms, and adverse reactions were recorded before treatment and at the end of third weeks, and after three weeks, making assessment of recurrence.Results:?After 3 weeks of therapy, all cases were better than before treatment in Uni-VAS?symptoms and physical signs?Multi-VAS(P<0.01).But for the patients with nasal congestion, the therapeutic effect of group A was better than group C. For TCM associated symptoms, there was significant improvement in group A and group B(P<0.01),and there was no improvement in group C(P>0.05). The improvement of group A was better than group C, and there was no difference in group A and group B. ? The total effective rates of the three groups were96.6%?78.6% and 86.7%, respectively. For the curative effect, group A was better than group B(P<0.05), and group A were equal to group C(P> 0.05).? The recurrence rates of group A, B and C were 35.7%?63.6% and 46.2%, respectively. For the recurrence, group A was better than group B(P<0.05), and group A were equal to group C(P>0.05).Conclusion: ? Treating children with Allergic Rhinitis (the deficiency of splenic and pulmonary Qi) with Intradermal Needle is a effective and well tolerated form of treatment.? There is significant improvement by treated with Intradermal Needle combined with loratadine in nasal symptoms, especially in nasal congestion. ?For TCM associated symptoms, Intradermal Needle get obvious efficacy and extend interval.
