ObjectiveEvaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture "step therapy" treatment of lumbar disc herniation and to explore the main factors of efficiency in the integrated programs.MethodsGuangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture clinic to recruit patients with lumbar disc herniation73cases PEMS3.1for Windows "method completely randomized design (two groups) were randomly divided into35cases of acupuncture the staircase therapy group and control group33cases. Acupuncture "step therapy" group using needle acupuncture in the Zhongzhu (double), Baihui Yintang, umbilical four-pin (Shuifen, Yinjiao, Tianshu double), moxa cone moxibustion waist four points (Pishu double, Pangguangshu double), Yaoyangguan per hole of each five strong. With the Xinshu, Yaoyangguan the waist and three-pin (Yaoyangguan, Yaoyan double) buried intradermal needle. The control group only acupuncture needles buried, not moxibustion, needles, point selection and method of operation with acupuncture "step therapy" group. Both groups two times a week treatment,10treatments for a course of treatment. After the course of treatment effects were observed. JOA scale, the VAS scale KMI scale evaluation of outcome measures of clinical efficacy of two groups of patients, JOA reduction rate calculation efficiency. Statistical Methods EpiData3.1design entry framework, data entry import the SPSS18.0packages, data management and analysis. Group of the measurement data itself before and after comparison using paired t test comparison between groups using independent samples t test; count data test, baseline levels ranging from analysis of covariance; endpoint rate, constitute more than said; test level is set to a=0.05. Results1. The two groups in age, gender, anatomical site and disease staging, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05), suggesting that the two sets of baseline levels consistent2.35patients in the acupuncture ladder therapy group, cured two cases, accounting for5.71%, effective in24cases, accounting for68.57%, effective in6cases, accounting for17.14,3cases, accounting for8.57%; the control group38patients recovered0cases, effective in10cases, accounting for26.32%, effective21cases, accounting for55.26%, and7cases, accounting for18.42%; acupuncture ladder therapy group recover from illness significant rate of74.29%, recover from illness in the control group significant rate of26.32%, two recover from illness penetrance difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); acupuncture escalation therapy group, the total effective rate91.43%81.58%of the total effective rate in the control group, the total effective rate comparison, the difference was not statistically significance (P>0.05).3. Step therapy group after treatment, Acupuncture the ladder Therapy group JOA scale score was8.26±3.03, and the control group of11.02±2.66, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), suggesting that acupuncture in reducing the JOA score better than control group; JOA Scale score and treatment of the two groups of patients after treatment compared to before the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).4. VAS scale score after treatment, acupuncture the staircase therapy group was3.92±3.45, with the control group,5.26±1.25, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), suggesting that acupuncture the staircase therapy group in lower VAS scores than control group; before the two groups of patients after treatment the VAS scale score and treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).ConclusionAcupuncture "step therapy" group for lumbar disc herniation recover from illness penetrance than the control group, and can significantly reduce the JOA score and VAS scale, compared with control group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), suggesting that the moxa cone moxibustion therapy is the main factor in the efficiency of this program.
