The Clinical Study Of Houzao Niuhuang Power For Acute Tracheitis And Bronchitis (Sputum And Heat)

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and security of HouZaoNiuHuang power in treating acute tracheitis and bronchitis.Method:Select480cases who suffer from acute tracheitis and bronchitis following randomization, blindness, positive parallel control, multi-central method required in the clinical trials. They were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group takes HouZaoNiuHuang power including360cases, control group takes TianHuangNiuHuang power. The period of treatment is5days. After5days, abserve the change of the scores of individual symptoms and TCM symptom to evaluate the clinical efficacy, while observing the change of the routing urine, blood tests, drug conventional, induced function, electrocardiogram to evaluate the security.Results:1. Curative effect evaluation:(1) cough curative effect evaluation:the clinical control rate is57.56%, the show efficiency is15.41%,the effective rate is21.80%, ineffective rate is5.23%, recovery rate is72.9%, total efficiency rate is94.77%in treatment group. The indexes are respectively44.83%,12.93%,31.03%,11.21%,57.76%,88.79%in control group. There are significant differences in two groups by statistical disposal (p<0.05).(2) Sputum curative effect evaluation:The clinical control rate is72.09%, the show efficiency is3.49%, the effective rate is20.64%, ineffective rate is3.78%, recovery rate is75.58%, total efficiency rate is96.22%in treatment group. The indexes are respectively57.76%,4.31%,27.59%,10.34%,62.07%,89.66%in control group. There are significant differences in two groups by statistical disposal (p<0.05)(3) Thirst curative effect evaluation:The clinical control rate is97.32%, the ineffective rate is2.68%, in treatment group. The indexes are respectively91.46%,8.54%, The treatment group is higher than control group, There are significant differences in two groups by statistical disposal (p<0.05)(4) Other minor symptoms, such as fever, sore throat, toilet, tongue and pulse, lung auscultation the two groups no significant difference(p>0.05).2. During the whole course of the test, there are not obviously bad affair happened. The medicine has good security.Conclusion:HouZaoNiuHuang power is effective to treat the acute tracheitis and bronchitis. The treatment group is much higher than control group in the TCM symptoms of recovery rate and total efficiency rate, meanwhile, the treatment group is more effective to control cough and sputum. There had not happened obviously adverse reactions:HouZaoNiuHuang power has good security and it is of very important value for further protection.
