Objective: Testing nuclear factor-KB activation in perpherial blood mononuclearcells(PBMCs) in patients which congestive heart failure (CHF)to further explore the clinicalsignificance of nuclear factor-кB in CHFMethod: Select the75cases of heart failure patients as test group,30cases of normaladults as control group. Calculation of the subjects the number of NF-кB. According to thecardiac function is divided into three groups: CHF patients with cardiac function II group of33cases,24cases in cardiac function III group, cardiac function class IV group of18cases.According to the causes were divided into three groups:28cases of ischemic cardiomyopathy,26cases of hypertensive heart disease,21cases of dilated cardiomyopathy. The average age ofthe heart failure group (58.5±13.2) years, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF≤45%),normal control group the average age (63±8.7) years. The choice of subjects usingimmunohistochemistry to detect peripheral blood activation of NF-кB expression rates.Statistical analysis: All data are mean±standard deviation, SPSS13.0statistical software forstatistical analysis. The cause group of NF-кB in activation level were: ischemiccardiomyopathy group (24.7±10.6)%, hypertensive heart disease group (25.5±10.8)%, dilatedcardiomyopathy group (26.1±10.8)%. Statistical analysis of the cause of the group in generalconsistent with the distribution, the difference was not statistically significant,Results: Normal control group and cardiac function in NF-кB in activation rate ofdetection were as follows: The normal control group (7.7±2.4)%, and cardiac function grade IIgroup (15.9±1.9)%, cardiac function grade III group (25.9±2.5)%, and cardiac function ingroup IV (42.1±3.0)%. Heart failure in each group activation of NF-кB level higher than thedifference between the groups was statistically significant (P <0.01). The correlation analysiscan be intimate function of the higher grade of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in theactivation of NF-кB the higher. Heart failure group was the activation of NF-кB level andcauses no linear relationship (P>0.05). Heart failure in patients with peripheral bloodmononuclear cells of NF-Кb activation levels and left ventricular ejection fraction was inversely related, With left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVDd) were positivelycorrelatedy. Conclusion: Nuclear factor-кB can objectively reflect the situation of the cardiacfunction of patients with congestive heart failure, It can be used as evaluation indicators of theseverity of heart failure. In patients with heart failuregroup, the lower left ventricular ejectionfraction (LVEF), the greater left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVDd), the higherexpression of the peripheral blood mononuclear cell NF-кB.
