Objective Retrospective analysis and summarize clinical experience ofreconstitution of deep femoral arterial blood flow in improving the ischemicsymptoms of lower extremities. Methods According to the CTA and vascular Color Doppler ultrasoundselect the appropriate cases in the high-risk patients suffering from criticalmultilevel atherosclerotic occlusive disease. Fontaine stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ in62casesof lower extremity arterial occlusive disease were assigned to the deep femoralartery forming the surgical treatment group (treatment group) and theconservative treatment group (control group), each case all31cases, two sets ofsymptoms improvement ankle-brachial index, and prognosis follow-up situationto compare. Anatomic pathway shares-artificial blood vessels of the deep femoralartery bypass in seven cases, common iliac, external iliac artery-artificial bloodvessels of the deep femoral artery bypass in nine cases, the iliac artery balloondilatation and stent implantation combined with the deep femoral arteryangioplasty In four cases, the axillary artery-the deep femoral artery bypass intwo cases, pure deep femoral artery angioplasty nine cases. Results Patients were followed up for3months-23months(Average13months).26cases in the treatment group the symptoms were improved, the skintemperature was significantly elevated, resting pain disappeared, ABI signify-cantly elevated(preoperative average of0.23±0.14,after an average of0.57).Three cases to alleviate the symptoms, two case of patient with invalidamputation. One cases occurred in the cases of18cases of artificial blood vesselsto bypass the occlusion, artificial blood vessel patency rate was94.4%.In9casesof simple deep femoral artery angioplasty1in cases of deep femoral artery occlusion. The overall limb salvage rate was93.5%. Four cases of patients withsymptoms improved significantly in the control group,20patients to alleviate thesymptoms, seven cases of invalid amputation. ABI no significant change(preoperative average of0.26±0.12, postoperative average of0.30±0.09).Overall limb salvage rate of77.4%. Two cases of death at9months and13months respectively, the final cause of death are heart failureConclusion Extensive block and no superficial femoral artery for distalartery reconstruction in patients with outflow tract blood vessels, the selection ofpatients with deep femoral artery reconstruction has played a positive role inalleviating pain and improving the patients’ quality of life.
