Objective: To explore the clinical diagnosis significance of the256multi-spiral CT andMRI for ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma, using the retrospective analysis of the iconographicdata as well as the pathology diagnosis of patients to evaluate the two methods’accuracy, reliability and advantage.Methods:60patients of ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma were recruited and werediagnosed by multi-spiral CT or MRI. Within the60patients,25cases were diagnosed onlyby multi-spiral CT,21cases were diagnosed only by MRI and the other14cases werediagnosed both by multi-spiral CT and MRI. Based on the pathology diagnosis results, wecompare the accuracy, reliability and advantage of multi-spiral CT and MRI to diagnoseovarian cystoadenocarcinoma.Result: Within25patients who used multi-spiral CT to diagnose,12cases wereserosity ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma,13cases were mucilage ovariancystoadenocarcinoma. Within21patients who used MRI to diagnose,13cases were serosityovarian cystoadenocarcinoma,8cases were mucilage ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma. Within14patients who used both multi-spiral CT and MRI to diagnose,11cases were serosityovarian cystoadenocarcinoma,3cases were mucilage ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma. There isno significance of the age and the typing in the3groups with P>0.05. In the60patients,40(66.7%) cases appeared hydrops in cavitas pelvis and20(33.3%) not appeared;29(40.0%)cases were unilateral focus of tumor and the other31(51.7%) were bilateral;36(60.0%)cases’ tumor were isodensity and the other24(40.0%) were not.18(30.0%) cases’ tumorwere round or similar round while the other42(70.0%) were not. The sensitivity of256multi-spiral CT to diagnose ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma was84.0%(21/25). MRI’ssensitivity to diagnose ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma was85.7%(18/21), and it was100.0%(14/14) for the diagnosis result of the combine method of multi-spiral CT and MRI.Conclusions:(1) Multi-spiral CT and MRI can be used to display the density, shapes and othercharacters of ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma, so there is a significance clinical diagnosis valueof ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma from these two methods.(2) The sensitivity can be elevated by the combine method of multi-spiral CT and MRI to diagnose ovarian cystoadenocarcinoma.
