Object:Hyperglucemia and insulin resistance are closely related to the poorprognosis.T_here are a series of studies against this point, but no one is do duringprioperative time.In this study,we examin the blood glocose, insulin and then we calculate theIR(insulin resistance).Methord:We choose42patients who≥18and underwent urgent or emergentcraniotomy for T_BI at firt hospital of JILIN University.T_he patients is divided into3groupaccording to the GCS and there are14patients in each group. We examin the blood glocoseand insulin at6time points and then calculate IR.T_he formula about the IR=bloodglucose(mmol/l)*insulin(μU/ml)/22.5.We choose10patients who are healthy andunderwent elective surgery which lasting time is similar to the craniotomy.Result:Intraoperative hyperglycemia is common.T_he blood glucose, insulin and IR aresignificantly higher during the prioperative time.In severe traumatic brain injury group, theblood glucose was positive correlation with the insulin and IR.Conclusion:Intraoperative hyperglycemia was common during adults underwenturgent or emergent craniotomy for T_BI.T_he time during operation maybe the window timewhich blood glucose, insulin and IR are significantly higher.
