Objective: To research the effects of resistance exercise on impaired glucose regulation(IGR)population,s insulin resistance and insulin sensitivity by detecting the Fasting Plasma Glucose,Fasting insulin,Glycosylated hemoglobin,Blood lipid,Blood pressure,BMI and other indicators and comparing with aerobic exercise before and after the resistance exercise intervention.Method:From June to August in 2015,143 residents which were suffering impaired glucose regulation and accordancing with the standards of the IGR were screened in the three community health service centers(Diecai?Xiufeng?Nanmen)in Guilin City.After a year of the intervention study,Part of the research object due to the movement is not up to standard,relocation,disease,failure to complete the inspection and other factors as fall off.There were 115 cases who finally completed the study and were collected the research object complete data.Among them,there were 30 male,85 female,44-68 years old,the average age was 59.44±4.49 years.They were randomly divided into studygroup of 38 cases of resistance exercise(10 people of loss,the loss rate was20.83%),39 cases of aerobic exercise group(9 cases of loss,the loss rate was18.75%),38 cases in the control group(9 cases of loss,the loss rate was19.15%).Three groups of subjects were divided into diabetes education(Group three had consistent teaching content).The two exercise group was tested by professional sports doctors before the exercise.The individualized exercise program were made for them.The amount of activity was gradually increased anf adjusted according to individual condition.The aerobic group: the guidance of moderate intensity aerobic exercise,mainly for Rhythmic gymnastics ?aerobics and so on.The resistance group: guiding the moderate intensity resistance exercise,using elastic rope(Go Fit)to complete the specified action research object from 60% to 70% 1 Repitions Maximum and the main muscle groups were exercised.Two exercise groups :The warm-up was 5 min,the training time was 40 min,the relax tension was 5 min after exercise,1 every other day;The control group: Based on the diabetes education,every 3 months follow-up 1 times,but there was not behavior intervention to them.Before the intervention and after intervention 3,6,12 months,the Fasting Plasma Glucose,2-h post-load plasma glucose,Fasting insulin,HemoglobinAlc,Triglyceride,total cholesterol,Low density lipoprotein cholesterol,High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol were tested.The Heart rate,Height,Weight circumference,Systolic blood pressure,Diastolic blood pressure were Measured,HOMA-IR,Insulin action index,Body mass index,Waist to height ratio were calculated.This study was reviewed and approved by the medical ethics committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University.All of the subjects were willing to participate in the study and signed the informed consent form.Result:(1)Before the intervention,each index of the three groups of people with IGR were showed no significant difference(P>0.05);interaction between the effects of different interventions and time on FPG,2hPG,FINS,HbA1 C,HOMA-IR,IAI,WHtR,BMI,body weight,waist circumference,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,SBP,DBP(P<0.05);compare the effects of different interventions on FPG,2hPG,FINS,HbA1 C,HOMA-IR,IAI,BMI,WHtR,body weight,waist circumference,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,SBP,DBP,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)When the participants were intervened at third?sixth and twelfth months,the FPG,2hPG,Hb A1 C,LDL-C,DBP,body weight,waist circumference in resistance group were lower than that in the control group,When the participants were intervened at sixth ? twelfth months,the FINS,HOMA-IR,BMI,WHt R,TC,SBP in resistance group were lower than the control group,the IAI,HDL-L were higher than that in control group.Significant differences(P<0.05);When the participants were intervened at third ? sixth and twelfth months,the FPG,2hPG,FINS,HbA1 C,HOMA-IR,WHt R,BMI,body weight,waist circumference,TC,TG,LDL-C,SBP,DBP lower than that of before intervention,compared with before intervention,the HDL-C and IAI were increased,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);(3)When the participants were intervened at third?sixth and twelfth months,FPG,2hPG,Hb A1 C,TG,DBP,body weight,waist circumference in aerobic group were lower than the control group;When the participants were intervened at sixth ? twelfth months,the FINS,HOMA-IR,BMI,WHt R,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,SBP in aerobic group were lower than the control group,IAI was higher than the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);When the participants were intervened at third?sixth and twelfth months,the HbA1 C,BMI,body weight,waist circumference,WHtR,TC,LDL-C,SBP,DBP were lower than before the intervention,IAI was higher than before the intervention;The intervention at third?sixth months,the FPG was lower than before the intervention.;Compared with before the intervention,the 2hPG,FINS,HOMA-IR,TG were reduced and HDL-C was increased when the participants were intervened at sixth ? twelfth months,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);(4)After 3,6 and 12 months of follow-up,the HbA1 C,weight and DBP was increased than before the intervention in control group,after 6 and 12 months of follow-up,the BMI,WHtR,SBP,waist circumference was increased than before the intervention,after 12 months of follow-up,the FINS,HOMA-IR was increased and IAI was decreased than before the intervention,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);(5)The improvement situation of FPG,2hPG,FINS,HbA1 C,HOMA-IR,IAI,WHtR,BMI,body weight,waist circumference,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C in the resistance groups was slightly better than that in the aerobic group,while,the SBP,DBP in the aerobic group was slightly better than the resistance group.Except for The intervention at sixth months,the FPG was significantly higher than that in the resistant group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups at different time points(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Both aerobic exercise and resistance exercise could improve the plasma glucose,fasting insulin,insulin sensitivity and insulin resistance obviously,the improvement of resistance exercise on Fasting Plasma Glucose was slightly larger than that of aerobic exercise.The effect of resistance exercise on Fasting Plasma Glucose was slightly greater than that of aerobic exercise,and theimprovement of fasting insulin,insulin sensitivity and insulin resistance was slightly greater than that of aerobic exercise.(2)Both aerobic exercise and resistance exercise could reduce the weight and waist circumference of the IGR population,so as to achieve the goal of controlling obesity(especially central obesity)and improving dyslipidemia.Resistance exercise can not only reduce fat,can increase muscle mass,more conducive to the improvement of muscle insulin resistance.(3)In the IGR combined with mild hypertension,the resistance exercise can reach the similar antihypertensive effect,and it is safe ? effective and Worth spreading.
