The Significance Of Three-dimensional Transrectal Ultrasound With The Percentage Of Free Prostate Specific Antigen/Prostate Specific Antigen Density In Prostate Cancer Biopsy

ObjectiveThe study probes into the significance of three-dimensional transrectal ultrasound (3D-TRUS) with the prostate cancer’s the percentage of free prostate specific antigen/prostate specific antigen density((F/T)/PSAD), and then develops the individualized prostate biopsy scheme.MethodsThe study performs3D-TRUS for64patients(whose PSA between4ug/L and20ug/L)combined with (F/T)/PSAD, real-time dynamic three dimensions guided puncture. Display color doppler to suspicious area, observe the blood supply, increase pin number around the3D-TRUS highly suspicious lesions and its corresponding on the base of traditional six stitches, then carry on the pathological examination. Divided the patient into3D-TRUS positive group and3D-TRUS negative group,according to their3D-TRUS are normal or not.Then divide the patients into two groups which are (F/T)/PSAD<0.8with the group (F/T)/PSAD≥0.8, in accordance with the two groups (F/T)/PSAD value,and finally analyze the test results by statistics.ResultsAfter the pathology examination, the prostate cancer are25cases among64patients,and the detection rate is39.1%.The3D-TRUS positive group,27patients, with19cases(70.4%) with prostate cancer by detecting, and among18cases whose (F/T)/PSAD<0.8, there were16cases confirmed with prostate cancer (88.9%).3D-TRUS negative group,37patients, there were6patients with prostate cancer(16.2%),5of12cases whose (F/T)/PSAD<0.8(41.7%). The detection rate of these two groups have the statistic significances.(χ2=19.231, P<0.005)ConclusionThe tests of combing3D-TRUS with (F/T)/PSAD may improve the detection rate of prostate cancer. At the same time,it can decrease complications so as to relieve patients’ pain.Patients with both positive of3D-TRUS and (F/T)/PSAD<0.8performed targeted puncture of suspicious lesions,while patients with both negative of 3D-TRUS and (F/T)/PSAD≥0.8did not perform puncture only reviewed at regular time. When it came to inconsistent result between3D-TRUS and (F/T)/PSAD,the number of needles were increased in the lesion and its surrounding.Puncturing in10point was suggested for reducing the false negative rate,and reasonable protocol of puncture was carried out according to the results of3D-TRUS and (F/T)/PSAD.
