Objective:To investigate the knowledge, attitudes, practice related to AIDS and their influencing factors betweenHIV/AIDS population and the general population, and provide the basis for the health education of AIDSin different populations and the policy-making of departments.Methods:Taken convenience sampling method, select three townships as samples in the area AIDS,then selectthree villages from each township. Investigated a total of281of HIV/AIDS. The selection of the generalpopulation in accordance with the principle of "Gender as same as HIV/AIDS, age difference of not morethan3years of age, marriage and educational level do not differ more than two levels", investigated a totalof281ordinary people. A uniform questionnaire was used in survey. The questionnaire includes generaldemographic indicators, AIDS-related knowledge and attitude towards AIDS patients and the number ofsexual partners, condom use and AIDS-related behavior. SPSS11.5for data processing, frequency analysis,analysis of variance, chi-square test and stepwise multiple regression analysis and logistic regressionanalysis were used.Results:1.An AIDS-related knowledge Results: HIV/AIDS, the correct rate of the three routes oftransmission of AIDS between75.4%and93.2%,correct rate of the non-transmission routes between78.3%and91.5%; percentile score of AIDS-related knowledge an average of77.07±17.47; stepwisemultiple regression results show that the lower scores of illiteracy and age. In the general population, the correct rate of the three routes of transmission of AIDS between73.3%and93.2%, correct rate in thenon-transmission routes between76.5%and84.3%; knowledge percentile score an average of74.49±24.19; male comprehensive score higher than women, unmarried and older who score lower.2. Attitude to AIDS:For HIV/AIDS population,3.9%of people choose to avoid AIDS of relatives;4.3%of people choose to avoid AIDS of friends; People who got higher AIDS knowledge score have morewilling to take the initiative to help,and unmarried have low willing to take help. In the general population,3.2%people choose to AIDS of relatives, and0.4%of people choose to cut off from them;3.6%peoplechoose to try to avoid AIDS of friends,and0.4%choose to cut off from them; The men’s initiative to helpwilling stronger than women.3.Attitude to multiple sexual partners: In HIV/AIDS, no objection has two or more sexual partnersup to46people (16.3%),15people have had two sexual partners, one who experienced a more than threesexual partners. In the general population, no objection to two or more sexual partners up to40people(14.2%),14people have had2sexual partners.4.Condom using: In HIV/AIDS, there are124people who did not insist on having sex with each useof condoms, accounting for44.6%;135people use condoms in order to prevent sexually transmitteddiseases (57.7%). In the general population,259people who did not insist on always using condoms,accounting for92.8%;65people use condoms for contraception at the same time and also to the preventionof STD and AIDS (43.9%).5. In HIV/AIDS,274people have not used dirty needles with other people. In the generalpopulation,274people have not used dirty needles with other people.Conclusions The knowledge to AIDS of HIV/AIDS and ordinary is not high, and not a comprehensive knowledgeto master.Should focus on the knowledge of the two populations of weaknesses, blind spots to publiciziand educate, and strengthen the depth and breadth of the AIDS health education. Low educational level,unmarried women, and older should be used as the AIDS key education targets. Discrimination of AIDSpatients still exists, we should change our concepts, the elimination of discrimination as a focus of AIDSeducation. We should further promote condom using, improve self-protection awareness of the differentgroups of people. Occurred in high-risk behavior groups should be strengthed the AIDS awareness andbehavioral interventions.
