| Objective:1. According to the rating scale, score before treatment, after treatment and followed up period. And calculate the efficacy index.2. Compare clinical efficacy between Chinese and Westen medicine treatment programs to CU.3. Study on Clinical Effects of treating CU according to traditional Chinese medicine along with Total Glucosides Paeony (TGP), explore the mechanism.Methods:1.80standard outpatients from the First Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine University Of Guang Zhou Dermatology sexually transmitted diseases specialist out-patient, aged18—65years of age ranges, with CU were randomly divided into the curation group and the control group. Each group had40cases. The curation group of40patients was given Flavored scattered xiaofeng combination with TGP, and the control group of cases, given Desloratadine.2. The curation group was received oral Flavored scattered xiaofeng, pieces of mixed boiling, taking200ml each, once a day for8weeks. Cut out spicy, greasy, seafood and alcohol in medication period. At the same time took TGP,0.6g, t. i. d, according to different individual patient, until the signs and symptoms improved gradually reduced the dosage. And the dosage was reduced to0.6g q. d or.6g b. i. d; The control group of cases, given Desloratadine,5mg q.d, according to different individual patient, until the signs and symptoms improved gradually reduced the dosage. And the dosage was reduced to5mg q. o. d.3. Treatment in both groups was8weeks. During treatment and subsequent follow-up in1month, recorded symptom score and the presence of recurrence.8week treatment period observed on the following indicators:the effective rate, before and after treatment points, the efficacy index and adverse reactions. The end of treatment during follow-up, recurrence were observed. Comparison before and after treatment in patients with symptoms and signs, explore the mechanism to traditional Chinese medicine along with TGP in treating CU.Results:1. Comparison of two groups of patients after8-week course of treatment effective rate:the total effective (recovered+cured+improved) rate was87.5%. The control group effective rate was67.5%. Comparison of two group effective rate, by X2test, P=0.032, P<0.05, suggesting that the effective rate difference was statistically significant, the curation group better than the control group.2. Total effecacy index contrast in the two groups of patients after8-week course of treatment:the effecacy index of the treatment group38.25%,26.77%of the control group, by X2test, P=0.0017, P<0.01, suggest that the two sets effecacy index, the difference was statistically significant.3. Comparison of starting treatment and after8weeks of treatment in the treatment group of patients in average credit, there were such considerable differences,(P<0.01); The control group of patients prior to starting the treatment and after the8weeks of treatment in points compared, there were significant differences (P<0.01). After treatment, the average points compared were different, but not statistically significant(P>0.05), associated with small sample size.4. In treatment group,9cases(22.5%) patients in the process of taking the Toptal Glucosides Paeony, had the symptom of diarrhea. In control group,4cases (10%) patients in the process of taking Desloratadine tables took to drowsiness, dizziness symptoms, no systemic symptoms.5. Comparison of two groups of patients in the observation of the average recurrence rate within8-week course of treatment and follow-up of1month: in the treatment group, the average recurrence rate was26.67%, and50%in control group. By X2test, P=0.045, P<0.05, tipping that the average recurrence rate was statistically significant, the treatment group lower than the control group. Conclusion:1. Western medicine antihistamine Desloratadine treating CU, effect was curative and safety was good.2. From the TCM etiology, pathogenic wind directly harm the human body as an exogenous pathogens in CU. Combined with the majority of cases in clinical performance, the wind, the humidity, the heat, is a major cause of CU. Flavored scattered xiaofeng had exact efficacy to control symptoms of CU. TGP in combination therapy and adjuvant therapy as an immunomodulatory agent, the role was definitely.3. Flavored scattered xiaofeng combination with TGP was effective in the treatment of CU, the clinical curative effect was better than Desloratadine, did not find obvious side effects, and can be spreadly applied. |
