| Object ivesTo analyze the relationship among the skin Lesion Colours, the skin Lesion Lacations, the Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI) and the Syndrome Differentiation of TCM or the viscera in patients with Chloasma.Methods1. Using an epidemiological survey method and designing unified questionnaire survey table, we collected the information about180cases of chloasma in the female patients.2. According to the standard of syndrome differentiation in TCM, the patients were divided into four groups:stagnation of qi due to depression of the liver, insufficiency of liver and kidney yin, retention of water-dampness due to spleen deficiency, qi stagnation and blood stasis.3. Using the modern technology (Fabio Meneqhini regions of the face and neck, the German RAL international and standard color card, MASI) and the theory of facial inspection in TCM(the facial-diagnostic-division method, the two-dimension coordinate matrix technique, the facial-diagnostic-division center coordinate localization method), we made an investigation on the skin Lesion Colours, the skin Lesion Lacations, MASI and so on.4. Inputting the information of Patients by the software EXCEL2003;and analyzing the relationship by the statistical software SPSS16.0.Results1.The Syndrome Differentiation of TCM can be associated with the skin Lesion Colours, and it has statistical significance (P<0.05). As follows there are correlations between stagnation of qi due to depression of the liver and alutaceous, insufficiency of liver and kidney yin and sable, retention of water-dampness due to spleen deficiency and beige, qi stagnation and blood stasis and pitchy.2. The Syndrome differentiation of TCM can be associated with some parts of "Fabio-Meneqhini regions of the face and neck" skin lesion lacations, and it has statistical significance (P<0.05)â‘ The skin lesion lacations in patients with stagnation of qi due to depression of the liver can be seen in the Malar region(bilateral side), Temporal region (Lefe side), Zygomatic arch (Lefe side), Infraorbital region (Lefe side);â‘¡The skin lesion lacations in patients with insufficiency of liver and kidney yin can be seen in the Forehead region, Buccal region (Right side), Parotid-masseteric region (Lefe side), Buccal region (Left side);3. The Syndrome Differentiation of TCM can be associated with the MASI, and it has statistical significance (P<0.05). And the related order of the MASI is qi stagnation and blood stasis>retention of water-dampness due to spleen deficiency> insufficiency of liver and kidney yin> stagnation of qi due to depression of the liver.4. The Syndrome differentiation of TCM and The viscera can be associated with "the facial-diagnostic-division method","the two-dimension coordinate matrix technique","the facial-diagnostic-division center coordinate localization method" lesion lacations, and it has statistical significance (P<0.05)â‘ There are statistical significance in comparison of the constituent ratio between the Syndrome differentiation of TCM and all part of "the facial-diagnostic-division method" skin lesion lacations (P<0.05)â‘¡here are statistical significance in comparison of the constituent ratio between the Syndrome differentiation of TCM and the skin lesion lacations of "the facial-diagnostic-division method" lung regions (FL2, FL1), spleen regions (PL2, PL1, PR2), liver regions (GR1, GR2)(P<0.05). And the other lesion lacations do not have statistical significance.â‘¢here are statistical significance in comparison of the constituent ratio between the Syndrome di fferentiation of TCM and the skin lesion lacations of "the facial-diagnostic-division center coordinate localization method" small-intestine (Left-XC, Right-XC), large-intestine (Left-DC, Right-DC)(P<0.05). And the other skin lesion lacations do not have statistical significance.Conclusion1. The Syndrome Differentiation of TCM in patients with Chloasma may be based on the skin Lesion Colours, the "Fabio-Meneqhini regions of the face and neck" skin Lesion Lacations or the Melasma Area and Severity Index (MASI), and they provide the objective foundation to simplify the Syndrome Differentiation of TCM.2. Researching the chloasma theory of the viscera in TCM:â‘ The facial diagnostic division of pathological viscera, what are corresponded with the lesion lacations with in patients with Chloasma, do not incompletely coincident with the theory of "the face belonging to different visceras in TCM".â‘¡The occurrence of Chloasma has closed relationship with liver, spleen, kidney, and maybe has relationship with lung, heart, large intestine, small intestine. |
