Object ivesObserving the effect of Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction to the VEGF signaling pathways and their receptor in women with breast cancer, and exploring the impact on the tumor angiogenesis, tumor lymphagenesis, the VEGF signaling pathways of Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction.Methods40cases met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into2groups. Treatment group, of20cases:Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction (once a day, about200ml one time for21days)+the neoadjuvant chemtherapy; The control group of20cases:the simple neoadjuvant chemtherapy. Observed the expression of MVD, LVD, VEGF-A, VEGF-C, flk-1, flt-4on tumor tissue before and after different treatments of each group. We could to evaluate the impact on the VEGF signaling pathways with Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction in the the clinical practice. All data were analysised by SPSS17.0. Chi square test was used to analyse the enumeration data, andt test was used to analyse the measurement data, the results were expressed as mean±standard deviation, and rank sum test was used to analyse the ranked data.Result40cases are put into our research, and no one case were excluded. So20cases in treatment group and20cases in control group. There is comparability and is not stastistical significance at the general between2groups (P>0.05). After the different treatments, the expression of MVD, VEGF-A on tumor tissue showed a decrease, There is a statistically significance in treatment group (P<0.05), but the change of the expression of flk-1on tumor tissue was not significant changes, There is not a statistically significance (P>0.05). The expression of MVD, VEGF-A on tumor tissue showed a decrease in the control group, and this difference was a statistically significance (P>0.05), but the change of the expression of flk-1on tumor tissue was not significant changes, There is not a statistically significance (P>0.05); The expression of LVD, VEGF-C, on tumor tissue showed a decrease in treatment group and in control group and there is a statistically significance after the treatment (P<0.05). The expression of flt-4on tumor tissue showed a decrease in two groups and there is not a statistical ly significance after treatment (P>0.05).ConclusionThese findings suggest that:compared with the control group, Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction can decrease a bit of the expression of MVD, LVD, VEGF-A, VEGF-C on tumor tissue, but the the expression of flk-1was not dereased. We can come to a conclusion, that Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction, can decrease the expression of MVD, LVD, VEGF-A, VEGF-C on tumor tissue of breast cancer patients. Thus, Tao Hong Si Wu Decoction can inhibit tumors angiogenesis and lymphatic generation of breast cancer, so as to inhibit the growth of tumors, and reduce the chance of recurrence and metastasis of the breast cancer patients.
