Prospective Research About TCM Syndromes And Recurrence Of Endometriosis Patients Before And After Surgery

Object iveTo investigate the characteristics, the distribution and the evolution of the TCM syndromes before and after the sugery on the endometriosis patients;to discover the possibility of the correlations between the TCM syndromes and the recrudecence of the endometriosis;to investigate the characteristics of the diversification of the TCM syndromes before and after the sugery of the endometriosis;to provide epidemiological evidence for preventing the evolution and The treatment based on distinguishing the TCM syndromes for the EMS patients afer the sugery.MethodsTake the way of the semi-open and epidemiological questionnaire, do the prospective research on the193patients of EMS whose diagnosis were confirmed after the sugery, record the basic information and the relevant information of the TCM syndromes, pay a visit on the patients of the EMS on one month and three months and six months and one year after the sugery, record the situation of the patients whose illness relapsed, fill out all of the quertionnaire before and after the sugery, establish a database, do statistics and analysis on the data and get the results.ResultsI investigated a total of193post-operative patients on the research and got four results. Firstly, the most common ages of the patients ranged from25to29, the most common period how soon the patients failed ill is less than one year, the cumulative rates of the pregnancy is32.9%and the cumulative rates of the recurrence is11.9%. Secondly, stasis appeared on all the patients and the amount of the stasis decreased obviously in one year, the amount of the deficiency of spleen and Qi what was the largest in all of the syndrome factor was signigicantly larger in one month after the sugery than before the sugery, all the amount of spleen deficiency、Qi deficiency、kidney deficiency、 Qi stagnation and stasis was large compared to the others. Thirthly, the amount of the syndrome of Qi stagnation was the largest before the sugery, but in one and three months after the sugery, the amount of the syndrome of spleen deficiency mixed with moisture and stasis was the largest, the amount of the syndrome of Qi stagnation was similar to the amount of the syndrome of spleen deficiency mixed with moisture and stasi. Forthly, on the research of the recurrence, the the Logistic regression analysis indicated that not only the intraoperative r-AFS score but also the Qi deficiency and the Qi stagnation mixed with blood stasis was the hazard factor of the recurrence, and taking Gestrinone for six months after the sugery was the protective factor away from recurrence.ConclusionsFirstly, the basic pathogenesis of EMS was that Chong, Ren and the uterus was blocked because of blood stasis, and the Qi stagnation mixed with bolld stasis was the most common in the TCM syndromes of EMS. Scondly, in the respect of the elements of the TCM syndromes, the amount of the blood stasis which decreased obviously one month after the sugery is the largest before the sugery, and the amount of qi and spleen deficiency increased soon after the sugery but then remained stable; in the respect of the TCM syndromes, the most mommon TCM syndrome before the sugery was qi stagnation mixed with blood stasis, but the syndrome of the spleen and stomach deficiency was the most common one month after the surgery and the syndrome of the spleen deficiency mixed with moisture and stasis was the most one or three month after the sugery, six month after the sugery the amount of the syndrome of the spleen deficiency mixed moisture and stasis was the same as the syndrome of qi stagnation with blood stasis. Thirdly, not only the intraoperative r-AFS score but also the Qi deficiency and the Qi stagnation mixed with blood stasis was the hazard factor of the recurrence, and taking Gestrinone for six months after the sugery was the protective factor away from recurrence.
