Clinical Effect Observation Of Yifei Jiedu Prescription Combined With PP(Pemetrexed And Cisplatin) Regimen In Treatment Of Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Objective:By observing Yifei Jiedu prescription combined with PP regimen for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with TCM symptoms, quality of life, Physical condition, tumor size, tumor markers, toxicity and adverse reactions, to evaluate the status and advantages of Yifei Jiedu decoction in the treatment of NSCLC.Method:40cases of patients in hospital (April,2011-March,2012) are from Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Jiangsu Cancer Hospital. Divide them randomly into two groups:treatment group (Yifei Jiedu prescription+chemotherapy of PP regimen) and control group(chemotherapy of PP regimen).20cases for each group, both be treated for2cycles,21days of a cycle, a total of six weeks. During the process, the treatment group adjust the therapy according to the change of patients’symptoms. Compare symptoms before and after treatment of each group, and evaluate the curative effects of two groups.Results:The treatment group failed to reflect a significant advantage in cancer clinical curative effect and reducing CEA、CY21-1(P>0.05),but displayed more effect in alleviating the clinical symptoms, improving quality of life and the physical condition(.P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the treatment group and control group in toxicity and side effects (P>0.05). However,Comparing with the control group,the treatment group was lighter in the degree of adverse reactions.Conclusion:Yifei Jiedu prescription combined with chemotherapy of PP regimen can alleviate the clinical symptoms, improving quality of life and the physical condition of patients with advanced NSCLC, and is well tolerated, high safety. This study further confirmed the feasibility in the treatment for advanced NSCLC by traditional Chinese medicine combined with modern medicine, worthy of clinical application.
