Study Of Relationship Between Serum Cystatin-C And The Syndrome Of Yin Deficiency Of The Liver And Kidneys On The Old Elderly Hypertensive Patients

Objectives:Find the relationship between serum cystatin-C and the other marks about the early diagnosis of hypertensive renal damage. Studyed the relationship between the syndrome of Yin deficiency of the liver and kidneys and serum cystatin-C,in order to provide a basis for syndrome differentiation of the elderly hypertensive patients and give a early discovery and treatment of the hypertensive renal damage.Methods:Choose91patients who meet the inclusion criterion and not in exclusion criterion and25healthy volunteers.91patients had been selected into4groups:relative predominance of liver fire syndrome、Yin deficiency and Yang excess syndrome、dampness and phlegm retetion syndrome、Yin Yang Concurrent Deficiency syndrome. Give a symptoms and signs point to each of the91patients. Blood and urine samples were needed for all the patients and volunteers,and then sent them to the Laboratory Medicine of Jiangsu Province Hospital Of TCM.Test the serum BUN、the serum Cr、the serum β2-MG、the serum Cys-C and the urine β2-MG、the urine m-ALb、the urine NAG,and then analyze the statistical data. Correlation analysis the symptoms and signs point and the content of serum Cys-C.Results:There is significant difference in urine NAG between relative predominance of liver fire syndrome group and the volunteers. There is significant difference in urine β2-MG(P<0.05)and highly significant difference in serum Cys-C (P<0.01)between Yin deficiency and Yang excess syndrome group and the the volunteers. There is significant difference in urine m-ALB、β2-MG and serum Cys-C (P<0.05) between the dampness and phlegm retetion syndrome and the volunteers. There is significant difference in urine m-ALB、NAG、β2-MG (P<0.05) and highly significant difference in serum β2-MG、serum Cys-C (P<0.01) between Yin Yang Concurrent Deficiency syndrome group and the volunteers. There is no significant difference in serum BUN、Cr between all the patients and the volunteers(P>0.05). There is significant correlation between the serum Cys-C and symptoms and signs point except the Yin Yang Concurrent Deficiency syndrome group.Conclusions:Abnormal marks about the early diagnosis of hypertensive renal damage are appeared in every syndrome group. It showed that the elderly patients with essential hypertension suffering the early renal damage. The serum Cys-C is a sensitive mark about the early diagnosis of hypertensive renal damage, and being coherent with the other marks about the early diagnosis of hypertensive renal damage. There is significant correlation between the serum Cys-C and symptoms and signs of Yin deficiency of liver and kidney.
