Objective:To study the expressions and the distributions of Wnt3a、β-catenin and CyclinDi about colorectal cancer and the clinical significance of them. Methods:Make use of a method which is called immunohistochemical S-ABC method to detect the expressions and the distributions of Wnt3a、β-catenin and CyclinDi protein about colorectal cancer. Results:The expression of wnt3a protein has been failed to detect in the benign lesion tissue of colon and rectum, which showed different degree of immunoreactivity in the colon and rectum tissue; However, the beta catenin, CyclinD1protein can be expressed both in the benign colorectal lesions and in the cancer tissues; The expression of beta catenin,CyclinDi protein in carcinoma tissue was significantly higher than in the benign lesion tissue; The expression of Wnt3a,beta catenin, CyclinDi protein have no interrelationship with age, sex, Dukes staging, lymphonodus metastasis, and distant metastasis of the patients with colon and rectum cancer(P>0.05), while have correlationship with the size and the degree of differentiation of the tumor of colon and rectum cancer(P<0.05).Conclusion: Wnt3a, beta catenin, CyclinDi protein obviously are up-regulated in the tissue of colorectal cancer, It is important to detect the expressions and the distributions of Wnt3a、β-catenin and CyclinDi in the tissues of colorectal cancer, which may offer important cases to the illness, treatment and prognosis of the colorectal cancer.
