Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of the two kinds of intraocular lens:PRL and ICL implantation for high myopia.Method This project was a prospective, controlled clinical study. Put the high myopia patients divided into two groups according to different IOL implantation between January to December,2011. In the Ophthalmology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. Group A,16cCases (30eyes) with high myopia, patients implanted with PRL in; Group B,16cases (31eyes) with high myopia patients implanted with ICL, and to respect Their clinical efficacy were observed. To examination uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA) by the same environment, same lighting, same vision table lamp; To measure the intraocular pressure by the same Non-contact Tonometer (the XPERT of NCT Plus Tonometer); To examine the contrast sensitivity of different periods by the same contrast sensitivity as the Function Detector (OPTEC6500); To check the anterior chamber depth and IOL arch high indicators by the AVISO QUANTEL company ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM).Result1. The postoperative UCVA was significantly higher than the reoperative, and increased compared with the preoperative best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) in Group A and B, but the differences of visual growth rate in the two groups were no significant difference (P>0.05).2. The average postoperative and preoperative IOP was no significant difference in Group A and B, It was no significant difference between Group A and Group B (P>0.05).3. The two groups of anterior chamber depth compared with the preoperative anterior chamber dare reduced, the difference was statistically significant. The difference between group A and B, anterior chamber depth was statistically significant (P<0.05). 4. The arch high of IOL in group B is higher than A. According to statistical analysis, the IOL arch height difference of postoperative in two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).5. The postoperative contrast sensitivity were improved compared with preoperative BCVA of each spatial frequency, in Group A and B. The difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion1.PRL and ICL two intraocular lens implantation for high myopia clinical surgery is safe, effective, no special complications.2. PRL and the ICL two intraocular lens implantation for high myopia and effective, predictable, reliable stability, and efficacy between the two groups was no significant difference.3. PRL and ICL two IOL implantation for high myopia anterior chamber depth and intraocular lens arch high stability, the difference was statistically significant.
