Objective:1、CD151is detected in gastric cancer and its adjacent nontumor and normal gastrictissues.2、Explore the four-transmembrane protein CD151expression in gastric cancer and therelationship with clinicopathological features.3、Explore the relationship of CD151expression and postoperative survival in patientswith gastric carcinoma.Methods:1、Collection of gastric tissue samples of70patients with gastric cancer in July2001toJuly2006in the People’s Liberation Army eighty-one hospital general surgery, allspecimens were pathologically diagnosed.2、CD151is detected in gastric cancer and its adjacent nontumor and normal gastrictissues by immunnohistochemistry.CD151expression in gastric carcinoma tissuesamples in its adjacent nontumor and normal gastric tissue detected byimmunohistochemistry method.3、The application of statistical software the SPSS13.0analysis of all statistical data,survival analysis using Kaplan-Meier analysis. Results:1、The expression of CD151is mainly on the cell membrane of the tissues. Theexpression of CD151is negative in normal gastric tissues,weakly positive in adjacentnontumor tissues and positive in the gastric cancer tissues,we found the positive rateis17.1%(12/70) in the normal gastric tissues,44.3%(31/70) in adjacent nontumortissues and77.1%(54/70) in the gastric cancer tissues,the expression in the carcinomais obviously higher than other two groups,the different is statisticalsignificance(P<0.01).2、Detected the70cases of gastric tissues,we found that there is no associationbetween expression age,gender and tumor size in gastric cancer tissues.The P value is0.830,0.462,0.309(P>0.05),and association was observed between the expression andthe TNM stages,tumor differentiation,Lymphatic metastasis in gastric cancertissues.The P value is0.019、0.001、0.043(P<0.05).The high CDl51expression wassignificant correlation with the poor differentiation,high TNM staging and lymphaticmetastasis(P<0.05).3、Follow-up of54cases of patients with positive expression of CD151after12months24months36months48months survival rates were:79.5%,65.7%,51.4%,25.9%; follow-up CD151-negative expression16patients with follow-up after12months24months36months48months survival rates were92.3%,83.1%,69.2%,51.9%, and CD151-positive expression in patients with a median survival timeestimated value of33.6months, expression of CD151-negative patients, mediansurvival time estimate was47.6months.The overall survival rate line Log Rank(Mantel-Cox), Breslow (Generalized、Wilcoxon) Tarone-Ware test, the P value lessthan0.05, indicating that the survival rate of two groups of patients have a significant difference related data.Conclusion:The CDl51expression in gastric carcinoma clinical pathological staging of gastriccancer and tissue typing involved in gastric cancer invasion and metastasis of CD151positive expression may play a catalytic role in the development of gastric cancer andhelp guide clinical treatment to further enhance gastric cancer therapeutic effect.CD151expression of a significant correlation between the prognosis of patients with gastriccancer, various types of gastric cancer prognosis has good judgment value.CD151detection may be a molecular marker of gastric cancer, the detection of CD151expression levels in various tumor tissues, tumor the occurrence of certain referencevalue in the development and to determine prognosis, and may become a new moleculartarget for gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment.
