The Clinical Research On Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Lung Cancer Hemoptysis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese herbs of Gujin Zhixuedecoction and its effect on patients’ hypercoagulable state by comparing theexperience side “Gujin Zhixue decoction” which is used to treat lung cancerhemoptysis by professor Guo Zhixiong with the control group of westernmedicine; to evaluate its practicality, safety as well as its position andadvantages in the treatment of hemoptysis of advanced lung cancer; and toprovide a basis for spreading traditional Chinese medicine and its application tohemoptysis of advanced lung cancer.Method: Among the lung cancer patients with hemoptysis meeting thestandard，those who refused or were unfit for chemotherapy were divided intothe Chinese medicine treatment group and the western medicine control groupseparately with the methods of random grouping and in accordance with thedifferentiation and treatment. In the study process the patients with transfusiontrigger in both groups were treated with transfusion after crossing bloodaccording to the procedure. The patients in the control group took the oraladrenobazone tablets5mg three times a day, intravenous drip withthree-dicynone3g/PAMBA0.3g/Vitamin k130mg once a day, and receivedthe western medical treatment of conscious-sedation, dissolving phlegm andarresting cough and absorbing oxygen. Simultaneously the patients in the Chinese medicine treatment group took the Gujin Zhixue decoction byProfessor Guo Zhixiong100ml three times a day. During the two-week coursesof treatment, the patients’ indexes of the two groups, such as sclinical symptom,physical sign, KPS score, conventional blood indices, blood biochemicalindexes, D-dimer, PT and APTT, were observed within and after the treatmentsrespectively. Then these indexes were analyzed with SPSS17.0so as to find themeaning of clinical treatment.Result: No statistically significant difference could be observed in the effectiverates of stanching the bleeding between the Chinese medicine treatment groupand the control group (P>0.05). However, the patients in the Chinese medicinegroup had better hypercoagulable state, appetite, mental state and higher KPSscore than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Gujin Zhixue decoction is able to treat effectively hemoptysis oflung cancer, and has certain advantages in increasing patients’ appetite,improving their mental state and KPS score, and especially in bettering theirhypercoagulable state. Thus it has benefits for long-term treatment andprognosis of patients. Besides, Gujin Zhixue decoction is convenient in use,effective in treatment with no side effect, reflecting the idea of personalizedtreatment, overall treatment as well as being in harmony with nature. Also ithighlights the features of “effectiveness, cheapness, convenience and benefit”of Chinese medical treatment for lung cancer hemoptysis.
