ObjectiveMahjong originated in China,it is China’s national essence. At present a lot of people regardless of men, women and children addict to play mahjong. As China has entered the aging society, the elderly how to spend their remaining years that become a big problem in today’s society.Playing mahjong game is one of the entertainment activities which the elderly is extremely keen. The elderly play mahjong day and night at the table because of loneliness and addiction of mahjong. The game player’s every move matters importance,Winners and losers are in an instant. Thus, the Mahjong game behavior is risky and irrtating.Cardiovascular and cerebrovsscular accidents are common in the mahjong table in our daily life, but so far it has not been attracted of medical researchers. The test is designed to mahjong game elderly participants blood pressure, heart rate, ST-T changes, epinephrine and norepinephrine and its possible mechanism of influence, then guide the elderly reasonable mahjong game.MethodsSelect the32cases of55-65year-old healthy participants (Nostructural heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, renal insufficiency, immune system diseases, organic diseases). The participants were randomly divided into4person per group acoording to the random number table,a total of eight groups, play mahjong game.Experimental time:8:00-12:00am.Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, plasma E and NE are our experimental index.Eachparticipant is wear a24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring,Holter,blood5ml laboratory plasma E and NE levels about12:00am.Blood pressure sampling measurement interval is set to20min,4hours toal of12times.The participants wear a24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring,Holter again to detect BP and HR between8:00-12:00AM in the day which the game begins.Blood laboratory plasma NE and E levels at the end of the game. Make comparison of plasma NE and E at the12:00AM, the average systolic and average diastolic blood pressure between8:00-12:00AM,the average HR of the two days. Respectively compare the systolic and diastolic at the end1h,2h,3h and4h after the mahjong game begins to the corresponding blood pressure at the start of the game.Results1The participant’s average systolic blood pressure, average diastolic blood press-ure was significantly higher than the previous day with same time period the average systolic and average diastolic blood pressure, the difference was statistically significa-nt(P<0.05)2The participant’s plasma NE and E levels at the end of the game was significa-ntly increased compared to the NE and E at the same period of previous day,the diffe-rence was statistically significant(P<0.05)3The systolic BP and diastolic BP at the end of lh,2h after the game begins did n-ot change significantly compared to the corresponding BP at the beginning of the ga-me,the difference was not statistically significant(P<0.05). however, it was significan-tly higher at the end of3h,4h,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)Conclusion1The results showed that mahjong game make the elderly participant s’BP,HR and plasma NE,E increase when they are playing mahjong compared to the quiet state of the same time.It is bad for the elderly’s health.2The older people’s BP fluctuated within two hours after the start of the game is not obvious, however BP changes significantly two hours aft-er when they take part in mahjong game.It is recommended that older people in participating in the mahj-ong game, game time is the best control in two hours within.3The results showed the elderly participants’s blood pressure, elevated rate,EGG ST-T changes in the Mahjong game process, come to suffer from hypertension, heart disease of the elderly is not suitable for a long time to participate in the mahjong game.
