Tcm Syndrome Differentiation And The Relationship With Chinese Constitution Classification Of Crohn’s Disease In The Initial Study

Purpose:In order to summarize the TCM syndromes and dhinese constitution classification in outpatient and inpatient with Crohn’s disease under the guidance of TCM theory,we do the research and review lots of cases to analyze the clinical manifestations of syndromes,and summed up the standards of Crohn’s disease’s syndrome differentiation type.Besides we also do research on the relationship among the disease type,age and chinese constitution classification.We hope that it can provide some guidance to the diagnosis and treatment of Crohn’s disease using chinese medicine.Methods:First of all,we do retrospective analysis of general information of the120patients with Crohn’s disease in Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Jiangsu Province during the period2010.01-2012.03.Then we selected100cases which clinical symptoms and tongue pulse is complete,then use SPSS17.0to analyse the data stored in Microsoft Excel.So that we can figure out the TCM syndrome differentiation, chinese constitution classification and the relationship between them,besides,we also can figure out the relationship among syndrome and age,pathologic types,and clinical manifestion.Research Results:In100patients with Crohn’s disease,we found that28ones of dampness and heat retention spleen,19cases of spleen deficiency with phlegm,18cases of qi stagnation and blood resistance,10cases of liver qi stagnation and attacking the spleen,8cases of cold and dampness retention spleen,7cases of deficiency of spleen yang and kidney yang,5cases of spleen and stomach deficiency,5cases of deficiency of qi and biood.By chi-square test,P<0.05, statistically significant. Frequency of distribution of the syndrome as follows:dampness and heat retention spleen>spleen deficiency with phlegm>qi stagnation and blood resistance>liver qi stagnation and attacking the spleen>cold and dampness retention spleen>deficicncy of spleen yang and kidney yang>spleen and stomach deficiency>deficiency of qi and biood.There is relationship between TCM syndrome and age(P<0.05).The occurrence of this disease also contact with chinese constitution classification.The study found that the frequency of Chinese constitution classification in this disease is damp-heat>phlegm-dampness>blood stasis>qi stagnation>yang deficiency>qi deficiency>yin deficiency>normal>special intrinsic quality.There is also some degree of relationship between syndromes and Chinese constitution classification,such as dampness and heat retention spleen is closely related to damp-heat and phlegm-dampness quality.Conclusion:Through the research,we found that the Crohn’s disease syndromes can be divided into dampness and heat retention spleen,spleen deficiency with phlegm,qi stagnation and blood resistance, liver qi stagnation and attacking the spleen,cold and dampness retention spleen,deficiency of spleen yang and kidney yang,spleen and stomach deficiency,deficiency of qi and biood8types.Including the evil connotation of the dampness as standard real,and spleen,stomach,kidney deficiency its virtual,the two are mutually reinforcing.And under the action of the pathological factors as wet,phlegm,blood stasis,it ise a separate disease or folder pathogenic.Above syndrome was correlated with age.Dampness and heat retention spleen,qi stagnation and blood resistance and cold and dampness retention spleen are the most common syndromes in the youth.Spleen deficiency with phlegm and liver qi stagnation and attacking the spleen are the most common syndromes in the middle-aged.Deficiency of spleen yang and kidney yang,spleen and stomach deficiency and deficiency of qi and biood are more common in the elderly group.The occurrence of this disease also contact with chinese constitution classification, in which the damp-heat, phlegm-dampness,blood stasis and qi stagnation are the most important factors.Further study of the relationship between syndromes and constitution classification shows that part of the syndromes are also associated with the constitution classification.For example,dampness and heat retention spleen is closely related to the damp-heat quality and spleen deficiency with phlegm is closely related to phlegm-dampness quality and qi stagnation and blood resistance is contact with blood stasis and qi stagnation quality and spleen and stomach deficiency is contact with yang deficiency and qi deficiency quality,and so on.
